I've been thinking more and more about bench hooker next year and Robson is my #1 pick over anyone else I've said before.
My only concern is his service, but I don't think any of our other options are better there.

No way do you leave Toops out of the team. Forget his overpay for a sec and think objectively. He adds enough to come off the bench. I reckon Jez will be at Newy so Toops to come in anyway. Morris needs to stay away from the team next year...

Gordon i think will be wasted anywhere but fullback, we can get away with ****ty wingers (now for example) but a fullback is the difference between a finals berth and a run into the finals in todays game, it's something we severely lack this season (Not talking about being "solid" but more or less becoming a card up your sleeve) the front runners of the competition ALWAYS have a superstar fullback not a OK one and a good winger. IF gordon plays at fb with tc in the team that's 2 tries right there. If gardner plays with him thats 1 try a game...maybe......

I do like your team, bugger off gards to lower grades. Michael Gordon fullback and wright centre however keep Williams at wing.

Why people? Why have Gardner at fullback? We have Gordon to play it and he is a lot better than gards . And wright would be my 2nd choice.

I sum up the season's of Best and Robson as pretty much the same.
I wasn't expecting much in the off season, but both have since exceeded my expectations and had fantastic seasons.
They will both play a big part of this years charge to the finals.
BUT, I don't think we should get carried away with eithers long term prospects.
I'd be tapping them both on the shoulder at the end of the season.
I don't think our recruitment is finished just yet, but even if it is, we have the young guys to replace them.
