Im saying Melbourne are keeping up with us, on our you beaut winning streak, have a better for and against, and are doing it without 1 of the best fullbacks to ever play the game....what part of that dont you understand? why are you even bringing slater into it for. Hasn't played regular football since 2014 and even then he wasn't near the form that he was at during his peak. Munster has been incredible and doing a mighty fine job at the back.

With Maloney back, we can haggle over paulo or loots on the bench, but probably our strongest team we can field.. I'm growing in confidence that we can account for these guys 13+.
I don't think saying another team will win the comp is a loser mentality. Yes we are killing it this year it's the best sharks side I've ever seen but it's just unlucky that there's a better team in the comp at the moment.
Melbourne will be very tough to beat and in not sure who can knock them off but if there is 1 team it's us.

The thing with Melbourne, is that they are such a well drilled side and they've been contenders for years. No one doubts their status as contenders. To me, they are the San Antonio Spurs of the NRL. Old but still find ways to get it done. They are definitely flying under the radar but if it was another Sydney club on our heels, I think the attention would be shared.
Nevertheless, tomorrow night's game should be entertaining. I hate waiting all weekend to watch us play on Monday. It's happened recently too and that game against Souths is on Monday too.

they are? The last month they scrapped home against the Knights, beat a cowboys team missing their rep players and were patchy against the Warriors
There is no excuse not to beat them at home (if we are full strength)

They put on another 50 points today. Admittedly against very poor opposition but they are doing everything right and love throwing the ball around. We will need to be right on our game to beat them and I agree it is not inexcusable if we lose.
