There is no question in my mind that the defensive energy isn't quite there at the moment. Then again do we want it to be? We want to be "in the zone" when it matters. Staying pumped against lesser teams is hard to do.

The team will be amped come the finals.
don't think I have ever agreed with you Cranky but there is a first time for everything :good:

I have no concern with the defensive energy from last week but it's the errors and Ill-discipline that I have concerns over

Agreed mate. But could that have been because we were playing the Knights?
I think against better teams we'll keep that much tighter.

I see us winning this comfortably. There is no doubt Titans are a much improved side compared to previous years, and playing some good footy, but we are on another level. I chalk last week down as an off week and picture Flanno setting the boys the task of putting Titans to the sword

Newcastle dragged us down to their level in that first half last week. It tends to happen to good sides against weaker sides. The Tits are a much more reasonable side so hopefully we don't get dragged into poor form by playing lesser teams.

some of it was I think. We did push to many passes in my opinion and tried to score every play. We still need to be patient no matter who we play and stick to our structures. We don't need to be developing bad habits at this time of the year.

On the discipline side of things we conceded some dumb penalties. Especially late in the tackle count in their end. It really isn't needed. Like I said it shouldn't matter who we play

On another note did newcastle and Cronulla break the record for most one on one steals in one game last week. There seemed to be quite a few last weekend

One area I am concerned with is the Titans kicking to Dons wing which happens to be Feki's side, we all know that Feki is not the greatest leaper plus he can have his ordinary days under the high ball, Don is more than ok @ leaping as well.

Yeah same the week before. We can't be doing this kind of crap, hopefully Flanno is addressing it.

Talk of peaking to early.... Hello Broncos... We will lose one somewhere in the regular season 5 day turnaround after this week, just enjoying it all at the moment happy for others to be grabbing the headlines both good and bad. You would imagine whoever wins out of storm Cowboys Saturday night will have plenty in the league world beating themselves off declaring them as morals for the premership.

I should have added I don't and never want us to lose but history predicts long winning streaks are hard to maintain.

That will probably if the Cows win without the chosen one.

Anyone going to this game? Being a Cronulla interstate member I am getting a free ticket I just have to collect on the night.

Those tickets are down in the far corner of the ground. In case you're interested I gave the club a call and was able to upgrade mine to their other allocation which is on the 40m line. Cost around $12 per ticket to upgrade.

I would have thought Titans home games were like Raiders in that you buy GA and sit wherever the **** you want. 8-10K people in a 25K stadium leaves some leg room.

With Ennis announcing his retirement I think everyone will be more switched on and focused on winning the comp for their mate.

Would we be able just to just ask on the night at all? I have got 4 others coming with me who don't already have tickets so I'd rather just go & sit with them anyway.
