Actually 'Stockmen' is a pretty good name for a (obviously male-sport) team based in regional / rural Australia.

I think the eels is a good name, linked with georgraphy and traditional place name.

I hate the modern buzz names like Fury, Storm, Thuder etc etc etc.

Regarding the name of any new team coming in, I'd love to see them just be called something like "Perth Rugby League Club" to begin with. It would be nice to see a nickname be developed over time, in the way that it used to happen. I hate how every new team has a forced nickname. In time, it will become clear what the name should be, if it allowed to develop on its own.

I realise that this would never be allowed to happen though.
