never seen a tiger in balmain either
Plenty of cougar's though.

The eels is a pretty awful name..... Also have never seen a "bronco" in Brisbane.
You've never seen a bronco in Brisbane? What a terrible way to look at it.
I've never seen a Dragon in Wollongong
I've never seen a Bulldog in Canterbury
I've never seen a rabbitoh in bogansville
I've never seen a Knight in Newcastle
I've never seen a Titan in Gold Coast
I've never seen a Cowboy in North Queensland
I've never seen a Warrior in New Zealand
I've never seen a Rooster in Sydney City
I've never seen an Eel in Parramatta
I've never seen a panther in Penrith
I've never seen a storm in Melbourne
I've never seen a shark in cronulla
I've never seen a sea eagle in Manly
I've never seen a raider in Canberra
By that logic I guess every team should be called the *insert city name* trees. I mean every place has trees right? Or maybe buildings? Yeah that has a nice ring to it. Cronulla Buildings, that's something I can get behind. I've seen plenty of them in Cronulla..
Mup.
Yup the weather is ****house 24/7 in Melbourne haha. So he got ya there, and when I was a pro fisho I saw plenty of sharks when live baiting off Cronulla reefs.
I have only been to Melbourne and Brisbane. So I can only make a statement on these two. I saw a Storm in melbourne (this name gets the tick of approval) however I didn't see any Broncos in Brisbane. I havent been to the other places so i was unsure whether there was actually a dragon ln Kogarah or wild tigers living alongside the public in Balmain. I had my suspicions but I was not 100% sure. Please feel free to update my list to state that every inaccurate team name is stupid.
I also like your idea about the buildings and trees. Are you a scholar of some sort? Your statement seems revolutionary, plenty of risk but certainly a large payoff should every area infact have a building.
Missing the point/
You said you've never seen a Bronco in Brisbane. So using the same logic, I said all the nicknames I haven't seen in all of those places. I sure as **** haven't seen a Storm in Melbourne, so no, no tick of approval there bud.
Using the same way of thinking as you did is how I came up with this 'revolutionary idea'. Nice attempt in try to pay me out, but in fact I was just using the same logic you presented. Now do you realise how much of a brain dead **** you sounded like? Hope so. Dense ****'s on this site everywhere.

I tried to register my touch footy team name as "Bye" but they wouldnt let me.
would of been the first team in history to go through the year undefeated without playing a single gameI tried to register my touch footy team name as "Bye" but they wouldnt let me.
Actually we call them Stockmen. A Jackaroo is a trainee/apprentice stockman
There was a team for Oxfam Trailwalker (a 100km trail walk/run) last year called "Three guys, one girl and a tough route."
Yeah, apparently the koori word 'parramatta' literally means 'where eels lay down' or 'where eels sleep', or very similar.
The socceroos would have to be up there considering the governing body uses football in its name.
