Geez, you might never have SEEN a shark in Cronulla, but I sure as Hell FELT one as it thudded into me and then slid on past my left leg as I was bobbing around waiting for my mates in the ski boat one sunny arvo in Port Hacking. 1998 it was.

Didn't need any friggin' skis to walk on water that day, let me tell you. I deadset flew into the boat like a breaching humpback whale. Probably resembled that albino whale from a few years ago too, but that's another story.

So...at least our mascot is friggin' legit.

Yep go out past the Nets they are there sometimes even closer, we had a school of bait fish following our burly run in my tiny out there about 20 years ago one of my mates stupidly wanted to kept the burly up and was trying to see if he could catch some bait fish with his hand lol all ended well but he didn't come back for a fish for a couple of months though.

The Rhode Island School of Design has an impressive entry with their "Nads" hockey team. It was only slightly diminished by the fact they obviously did it on purpose, which is somewhat atoned for by their team cheer, "Go Nads!" and their school's matching basketball team, the Balls.
