Definately not his best game tonight but he'll improve, a few unfortunate errors but everyone did tonight. He'll be a strong player this year in general.

he seems better overall and more confident but dissapointing still some of his tackle attempts

problem is there has only been mild progress with his defense. if he is going to miss tackles he has a chance of making then he needs to be perfect in attack which he isn't

Mild progress? That’s a beat up. His last two years he has improved out of sight in attack and defence.

Plenty of improvement in defence. Under the high ball, goal line defence, communication. Loved seeing him push Brailey to the short side early In the game. That stuff might go un noticed after your case of beer. The progress has been leaps and bounds year after year. Go watch the last few games of the jets grand final run just to see bad he was.
