He probably shoulda stopped the Valemi try.

20m+ off the CNK try.

His contribution in A gotta be banging cause off the ball he's crook.

One of his best tonight. Caught those bombs with ease in tough wet conditions. Great try saving tackle.

Never felt like he'd drop the ball, under even the most difficult kicks.

Haven't been so relaxed about such things since the days of Peachey.

Stood up in defence tonight!!!

Toughest I can think I have seen him play. Between the try saver on hunt and the 2nd try saver where he helped out (I think it was) Sione

He's putting it all together. Reputation says otherwise but I wouldn't swap him for Teddy.

might not have had all the attacking highlights as some other games (still looked dangerous) but he was pretty much perfect tonight

played in those conditions exceptional well and didnt give the dragons any freebies from dropped balls

coming into his own now

Last season if he played like tonight he’s a standout 3 vote from everyone… he didn’t even make mine!

**** it’s nice to actually have a full cap of players on the park so he can play great as part of team instead of needing to carry it

Had to give him a point in the 321.
The safety he provided under kicks and in defence in conditions like tonight we're worth as much as Talakai's runs.

If ever there was a night to have a good game at FB it was tonight. Exceptional from Bubba.

Yep that was great, you wouldn't normally back him to save a try like that.
Yeah, looks like he's really worked on his technique. Holding up, catching bombs, linking in the backline, passing left and right... He's really precise now

Suppose we can say he’s the number one form fullback.

“If Kalyn Ponga is worth $1.2m plus on the open market, that surely makes the man he lines up against on Friday night the NRL’s best-value fullback.

Cronulla’s Will Kennedy signed a contract extension last year believed to be worth $400,000 a season.

The 24-year-old is giving the Sharks serious bang for their buck after a tremendous start to the season.

He now leads a crack field of No.1s in the category of most direct try involvements.

In three games, Kennedy has six – a try, two assists and three secondary assists.

Next best is Melbourne’s Ryan Papenhuyzen with five from two tries, two assists and one secondary assist.

Clint Gutherson and Tyrell Sloan each have four, while James Tedesco and Tom Trbojevic are back in the field with a try and an assist each.

Latrell Mitchell has one try and two assists in two games.

The one knock on Kennedy has been his defence. Under Craig Fitzgibbon that looks to be on the improve after he produced a sensational try-saver on Ben Hunt in the win over the Dragons.”

James Tedesco $1.1m
Tom Trbojevic $1.1m
Kalyn Ponga $1m
Latrell Mitchell $875k
Clint Gutherson $800k
Will Kennedy $400,000
