I saw a guy with decent hands but not a lot else on display... What am I missing here?

What you’re missing is that he was on debut, and his coach would have told him to keep it simple and just make it through his first game. Give him more than one game to prove himself.

He’s definitely the second best fullback in the Sharks organisation.

Possibly, Burgess... Though JoMo didn't give Xerri that same advise.

How do we know that? The hidden cam video?

In any case Kennedy’s job is significantly more complex than Xerri’s and he would have had all of the same nerves. Keeping it simple, especially early on, would have been the common sense approach.

And play who at fullback?
Serious question.
With Dugan and Moylan out injured, who else do we have that is NRL ready that IS a natural fullback?

We can’t simply replace him without a more capable replacement and given that the other 2 are injured, I don’t see who would be next in line other than Kennedy.

No other natural fullback that I know of. It will be either Kennedy or Morris at the back. JMO will probably stick to Kennedy though as there has already been too many changes in the backline, and consistency is important to developing combinations.

happy for him to stay there why Moylan's out, he needs to calm down a bit though.

FB is not our issue, Wingers are, ours are worst in the comp, hands down.

I wonder if Bomber will consider retaining Ronaldo and moving Morris from centre to FB.

Kennedy could get ripped apart by storm and I don’t know his personality/mentality etc but getting personally thrashed two weeks in a row could potentially be a big hit to him as a player.

I get the feeling he'll pick and stick this time. If we're blown off the park, which I think we will be, it will be a test of Bomber's mettle.

Does that mean you think he’ll play Ronaldo of Sione?

I think Katoa and Gray were rested from Newton today along with FJ.

Surely Gray is due a crack.

How long do you spend in the bad books for one shocker ?

I guess we’ll find out if Aaron, Sione or Ronaldo ever play again

I think we might see Feki and Gray on the wings this week if both fit.

Has Gray played for Newtown this year ? He has played decent NRL level in the past.

Also a version of Flannoball might be on the cards this week against the robots.
