Yeah I think we should stick with him there till Moylan is back. Less disruption to the team. Thought he did ok tonight, will be better for the experience too. Gal said post match he tears up in training

Shows how much the club means to him

This is not an attack just at Will, but...

What the actual **** is with our team not attempting to catch balls in the air!!

We can't pretend it was only tonight. We don't even contest our own kicks in the air. It feels like it's been the case since gordon was at fullback. Drives me insane.

Thought he had a serviceable debut aside from that, definitely looked small but made it work.

Good to see capewell have a go on the short drop outs

crying the house down. hearing floods are coming this week

he's been doing it for us a while mate, he's fairly adept at it

Yeah - Capewell was the short kickoff/dropout specialist for the Ipswich Jets before the Sharks signed him.

They kick short almost every time.

Solid debut a few Nerves under the high ball.
Great see another local junior playing 1st grade.
Hopefully Moylan is out for the rest of the season and Will takes his spot.

This was my view and what I was hoping for when Moyza got injured.

I think Will has shown he would be more than capable now and it was good to see Bomber give him the opportunity.
I'd be happy for him to play FB until Moylan is ready to return.

I'd look at a backline of:
FB - Kennedy
RW - Katoa
RC - Xerri
LC - Morris
LW - Dugan

With Nikora and SJ on that right edge, Wade and Chad on the left edge, I think those combinations would make us very dangerous across the park.

Nope, wouldnt have Xerri, Katoa and Nikora by themselves out there. Need more experience, happy to have Dugan on wing with Xerri, with Katoa with Morris. Kennedy to stay until Moylan returns.

Inexperienced yes, but great and exciting combination stemming from their Holden cup days together.
Plus Their D all in all has been pretty good, granted not perfect but it will come with more time.

I just think that is the future right edge with SJ being a part of that.

Future yes, when the young fellas have more experience.

1. Moylan
2. Dugan
3. Xerri
4. Morris
5. Katoa

That is a ripper of backline

Decent debut for him and happy for him to stay in the team until moylan is back.
However i think he needs to work on his positioning. There were too many times the panthers kicked to open space and he had to run halfway across the park to take it. If that were Melbourne or Roosters, they would have punished us.
Good fullbacks are normally standing alot deeper then he was last night.

Yeah agreed on positioning. Was the reason Maloney got the 40 20 on his 3rd attempt.
