Sticky will be chasing another back rower/front rower :D . But i would be looking for a outside back for sure . One question when was the last time we scored 100 ,90 even 80 meter try from a back that came from just sheer speed ?

just wait, simmo will give you plenty of those in 09!

Carney or Matt King would be good 4 us,but in my opinion we cant wait for NEXT YEAR, we have been doing that since'73. We need speed out wide first and foremost and it would appear we are playing for survival, we need to win it THIS YEAR!,which may go a long way financially to surviving. If we can't get a back up centre immediately then Bird or as i have said before Crocker may be the difference between a win/loss in the finals so if cheap enough we should take him.Bringing back Mat Rogers if he falls out of favour up north in favour of their new guys would also be a beauty for one yr.

We don't need speed....we need solid tacklers both up front and out wide to continue the platform from last year and win games from solid defense and commitment. We did not match Melbourne in the forwards last year in the finals only because it was a pressure situation, players misfired on the night and back luck.

least one D.Peachey could actually play, pull things out of nothing, yet his ill fated replacement hasnt shown anything to say he can play

Well I for one hope so, he used to score plenty of long range tries earlier in his first grade career but we haven't seen this to the same extent in recent seasons - he seems to have lost some speed and playing in the centres certainly hasn't helped his cause either.

Do you reckon some dislike the guy so much that they even hope he doesn't do good?

That'd be pretty messed up. Cheering the Sharkies up field on an attacking raid, getting pumped as the ball is spread wide and the numbers begin to stack on the edge, all of a sudden there is open space and Simmo gets the ball and the script is flipped; "DROP IT OR PASS IT YOU PRICK!"

I remember when all the talk was about this up and coming young gun to replace the great Peach. David Simons was his name , we could't wait to see this bloke.
He would be the biggest disappointment in Sharks colours since Russell Richardson, no this bloke is worse.
I hope Orcher is not another Simons.

very well put Cap's, I don't see how some think he is that bad, he has kept others out of 1st grade all last year and we came equal 1st. It's like rejecting a hot girl because she has a strange belly button.

now that's the way to criticise a 1st grade sharks player. A diplomatic approach.
