In Round 4 of the 2009 NRL season Dugan made his NRL debut for the Raiders against the North Queensland Cowboys

3 weeks before that was round 1, he played toyota cup, same as round 2 and 3

i like you, but you just lied through your teeth, dont do it again

I honestly think after years of avoiding it we may be in line for the spoon. Geez, that was hard to type. It's the one thing I have dreaded all the years I have followed this club.
But as they say in poker circles, if you look around the room and cannot find the sucker, then it's you.

I'm looking around and trying to see where our wins are coming from and I find very little. Even the Warriors can't play as bad as they did again and it will be across the ditch where even though we have beaten them over there, it's a much tougher proposition.

In answer to the title of this thread, i work hard for my money and i'm paying for this membership. I'm about to write a letter to the club requesting a refund.

I honestly don't care if we lose. But at least look like you care and have a go.

Think i'm switching to watch the Waratahs now.

Let us know how you go with that, sshhzzz, I agree the old ship is taking on some water but she ain't sunk yet there is no abandon ship SOS call going out.. Bloody hell been through more shtti than this, supporting the sharks is a life long commitment some of you guys need to chill out..

Just saw this - no way will we get the spoon. We may be pushing **** uphill to make the 8 but with a full squad we will easily finish well above the spoon.

i have to say, that is a crap idea

when josh dugan debuted, canberra were beyond crap, didnt hurt him

i am not saying holmes will be dugan, i am just saying some people are stupid

Big difference between Canberra and us. They could afford both $ wise and with the cap to give Dugan a chance to cement a spot.

I don't think we can do the same with Holmes. He could play a handful of games here and there, if he has a bad game it could be months before he gets to right it. **** loads of pressure for a kid to get it right the first time.

Just about every other team has the balls to back a player except us. As I said earlier I'm loving what Wests are doing this year.

to answer the OP's question, i wont call it a year until our last game

ok, we dont make the finals, big whoop, we have more crap hanging over our head that the blade runner

we just need to pull through, hope asada make a final verdict, and move on.

2014 for me now is just a year to enjoy the footy, regardless of how bad it is

i mean, we sat through 2009, 2010, 2011... what ever

How many games do you think he could play before we top the cap?

Not disputing we lack balls, a club with better foresight and a bigger set of marbles probably has Holmes and Brown in the top squad on potential (not performance which last year was not consistent)

But you know cause you have said it before it can't happen this year.

And as the pennies did it last year.

I'll support the Sharkies till they carry me out in a box, but FMD I want to see a lot more good times.
I'm of the belief (as I've stated many times before) give these young blokes a crack.
Plenty have been pulled from 20's to play NRL before. I think it's worth a shot.
If their good enough, their old enough.

we have 1 space left in the top 25, otherwise we wouldnt have made a play at fergo.

so upgrade him and we dont have a problem in the cap

spot on, beside I love game day down at shark park, we still have a good day and laugh on gronk hill, it's just a added bonus to be able to sing the victory song at the end

Fair enough didn't know that. Put him at fullback see what happens.

If half the ****s on here whinging about losing joined us on gronk hill, they wouldn't even realise we had lost.

A day at the footy is a day with your mates who all share an undying love for this club. We bleed the blue.

None of us would have ever met each other if it wasn't for footy, and we have friendships until the day we or the sharks die. I would rather stand on the hill and lose every game talking footy with you lot than sit alone at home crying about it.
