When Do We Call It A Year?

well stats suggest that since 57' (souths), only 1 team has gone 0/5 and made the finals, Broncos in 99'. Finished 8th and we bundled them out first week, so it doesnt look good.
In saying that, it depends on why the other teams were 0/5, and if they were just ****, or had a lot of injuries like we currently do.
Personally though, whilst I wont give up and will keep cheering the boys on, i think if we find ourselves at 0 & 7 in 3 wks time, we can kiss finals goodbye. We dont have the scoring capacity to beat teams consistently week in / out for 10-15 weeks straight if needed, and will be massively behind on for and against by that point, which means we'd have to get in the finals on games/points, not F&G.

I agree. I'm still gunna go to games and all but I have very little hope as I have zilch confidence in Peter Sharp regardless if injured players return we don't have it in us this year I feel.
We won't make the 8 and the Spoon is highly possible.
Yeah, I'll still watch and what not but have any of you who still think we are going to play finals football this year actually watched us play this year? We may grind out a win or two but FMD we are well of the pace. Throw in Origin time and we are toast. Bag me all you want but I just call it like I see it and all I can see so far is an ordinary football team.
I'd yawn just like I have after every game so far.

I told friends before the season that I didn't have a good feeling at all about this season so I suppose going into the season not being confident has made it much easier to cop the start to the year.
