Lol I didn't think my comment was going to be so difficult to digest,

I was commenting that I would be pissed if after supporting us in sacking him they then would re register him to play for another club this season... The end.

I know what you are saying, i couldn't care less if he is registered and playing for someone else next year, That is on us for sacking the bloke.

As i have previously stated, im sure they would have backed us if we suspended him for a period, fined him and put him into rehab. The club itself made this decision.

But the nrl isnt going to compensate when companies refuse to sponsor because of todds employment. I think in reality it had to happen. We suspend him theres a chance he is front page in 3 months and we sack him then.
Note: im gutted, todd is my favourite player, has been for 6-7 years. But i cant see where his future would have laid with us. Family meet and greet before newy game? Wat parent would want him near their kid?

you stand by your star playing

But if it was daniel holdsworth they could feed him to the chooks?

Clubs need integrity. We have little. Theyve taken a stance. I dont agree with it cos im a huge carney fan but **** what choice do you have when he is out doin this ****? Noyce mentioned there were instances this year. The club is obviously better informed than us, as much as so many here want to act like insiders. The club has more info at hand to make a decision than any of us

If we had an election tomorrow, this board wold be voted out in a similar manner to the last one...

Kinda ironic.

And a new ticket would campaign with 'we'll bring back carney'. Then 2 months later everyone hates them again

Yeah, I don't think they'd do it lightly.

I've been thinking this today too.

Wouldn't it be good if our Members took that outrage, saw past the present and demanded a better Club at the election next year?

A Club that stands for something that all Sharks fans can support, that is a fundamental part of the Shire community, that provides the best match day experience of any professional sport in Australia and that produces a perennially successful football side?

Isn't that what we all want?

So thinking caps on people...

You want a Board that represents YOU as a fan, supporter, member, sponsor, player, administrator... whatever...

You want an administration that has a clue and doesn't accept mediocrity or whitewash failure?

Put some names up.

Elections are in May next year.

Get a ticket together and commit to its support.

Love to see some membership ownership and activation.
