Never a dull moment. The irony of the name though- "Unity". Yeah, right..

Fkin Irvine needs to stop making comments about the Sharks. He's like Ing's constantly commenting on the ASADA investigation.

He can do what he wants. Not part of the organisation any more. WE are run by business men now anyway and everything is just great.

hes a paying member isn't it?

The problem is his comments get published when he talks about the club covering up prior issues with TC. As a paying member, he should have the clubs interests as a priority.

He obviously thinks that covering up for Todd was not in the interests of the club. ie. he does have the club's interests as a priority.

because he spoke the truth? He has every right to say what he did, if anything he was defending the club by saying he deserved to be sacked

I get clubs giving players the flick for bad behaviour, but after 3 clubs as a serial stuff up I 'd like to think the NRL would come out and say nah your done in this code or atleast a 12-18 month suspension.. Lines up for storm or cows next year I'll be devo, so much talent such a waste... I've moved past anger now and let's be honest if he was that out of control as reported he was hardly going to see out his contract

Anyone who thinks Carney wont be lining up for the Cowboys, Storm, Titans or Dragons is a naive mother****er.

I don't give a **** that we sacked him, so be it. But it'd be ****ed off if the nrl allowed a contract to be registered elsewhere after they backed us in sacking him!

The NRL said it supported the Cronulla club's decision to terminate Carney's contract.

"The Cronulla Sharks Football Club has today after careful consideration and lengthy deliberation, including discussions with senior NRL management, made a decision to terminate Todd Carney's NRL playing contract effective immediately," said the club's chief executive Steve Noyce in a statement.

We sacked him, what's the NRL going to come out and say - "Save Todd Carney". They supported Canberra when they flicked Dugan - did they refuse to register Dugan's Dragons contract?? They support every team that flicks a player for ****ing up - how many contracts have they refused to register over the years?? Lui, Kelly, Bird, Burgess, Roberts, Idris, Stewart, Watmough, Taumata, Houston, Mason, Walker, Myles.................................

Just realised June 30 dead line is over, so he won't play again this season, he can carry on next season for all I care. Just not 2014, good luck to him.

Should they have come out and said they disapprove?
Lol I didn't think my comment was going to be so difficult to digest,

I was commenting that I would be pissed if after supporting us in sacking him they then would re register him to play for another club this season... The end.

Come on mate, you're smarter than that. There's nothing there to say they backed us into sacking him.
