And this isn't the game to throw Murphy in at 6 when he has been playing 7 with Cordner or Gorrilla coming at him all game IMO

So instead we throw in a guy who hasn't been playing in the halves at all?

I can understand that thought HB but we need to get bird into the team more than Murphy especially against the roosters.
I have no problems bringing murphy in ,Just not this week.

We are going to lose anyway and we are not talking about a kid - Murphy is 25 his game is as developed as it ever will be and he has been waiting his whole life for a first grade shot.

He would throw everything into it and he would love to prove himself

I've really not seen much of him but I bet he's a better defender than Carney. Just because it is impossible that he could be any worse.

reading different threads and people are saying the guy can kick and we desperately need someone in this team that has a decent kicking game.

Don't think he's in high demand mate.

What if he has what it takes ?
Least give him a crack .
Feel some other team will take a punt on him .Even as backup .

Not saying we shouldn't be giving him a crack. I'm saying he's not in demand, why wouldn't other clubs tried signing him before we did?

They know Flanno's got no idea ?
We lost Peachey , with the same scenario

Can we go back to the posts where everyone was calling him a Robbo clone?

I'll break the trend here. Personally don't rate him that highly. He is a good NSW Cup signing, but shouldn't go near nrl. He is scared of contact and defence is very poor (think Todd Carney, but worse). Have a mate who played with and against him at q cup, laughed at the prospect of him playing nrl. Basically said their game plan is to direct traffic at him all game as he will run and jersey grab.

Though he does have a good kicking game.
