Thought I'd start a thread for our new addition from the north Devils in the qld cup. From all reports he had a stellar year this year so it's going to be interesting to see how he trains over the off season and how he trials.

Will most likely start of in nsw cup but I hope he puts pressure on robbo for a first grade spot. It's always good to have some good halves depth putting pressure on the first grade halves

I was originally told west tigers, but it looks like he is an east tigers junior and maybe a lower grader with the broncos

So does he actually play 7?

Good defence, attacking and kicking. Looks the goods for a young fella

he can and has played there

he played 7 for the qld residents

there is more to this signing than just playing for the sharks though, this was a very astute purchase

I hear he's a good bloke, level headed.

A calming influence on our new 5/8 perhaps.

He seems like more of an 'organiser' but with the pace to take the line on and threaten. I hope he gets a good go at NRL.

I agree.

I like how straight and late he plays. I really, really like that. And how strong he is through the hips - gets him between defenders.

I'm not being flippant when I say I think he will take the 7 off Robbo.

It's hard to judge just off highlights but he looks primed for a NRL gig.

Cheers for that 2010, first time I've seen that as I couldnt get it on my phone for some reason.

I suppose like any high lights pack its gunna look impressive but he genuinely looks good, hard to judge cause its Q Cup but he's worth the punt we have done on him, looks to be a handy goal kicker as well, looking forward to seeing how he goes with top company & opposition marking up on him.

Do you reckon he gets a start in our 9's squad?

I'll break the trend here. Personally don't rate him that highly. He is a good NSW Cup signing, but shouldn't go near nrl. He is scared of contact and defence is very poor (think Todd Carney, but worse). Have a mate who played with and against him at q cup, laughed at the prospect of him playing nrl. Basically said their game plan is to direct traffic at him all game as he will run and jersey grab.

Though he does have a good kicking game.
