Ride with me if it’s like this

Dykes fullback
Hynes at 6
Tricky at 7 controlling in game kicking mostly
Brailey at 9 but with a little more attacking

That will give us a mad platform

Kennedy is cool but I think Dykes will be very close to taking his or trickys spot
Feels like it comes down to Dykes kicking game as to whether he'll end up moving towards 6 or 1 hey. As it stands, Kennedy has a stronger hold on his spot than Tricky, but Tricky's boot definitely makes it interesting.

I would love to see that lineup, but we need to remember that as good as Dykes is and the potential he has, he is still a relatively unknown quantity on the top grade. We may see that line up later in the year but not first up I don't think. I am sure Fitz will start with Kennedy, Tricky, Hynes and Brailey.

I think with Corey he kept insisting that he wanted to be a fullback. If he was happy being a “winger who can cover fullback” things might have gone differently for him.

I have a bit of a soft spot for the guy. He grew up nearby and I wouldn’t say I know him but I’ve chatted with his dad at games. He never really excelled at fullback in Q Cup before going up though. Was one of those guys who got by on physical tools and destroyed comps in his own age group, but once he hit Q Cup there are lots of guys who were fast enough to catch him and good enough to tackle him.

Scomo's media team using him as a tool to try and he prove he was a footy head probably didn't help his ego.

For sure. Fitz seems to be quite big on players earning spots. I'll be surprised if we have any major changes in our 1-17 for round 1 assuming everyone is fit.

Yep. I love Tricky but I'd drop him before Kennedy any day.

Won’t matter if they’re playing behind a beaten pack each week

Tigers have withdrawn there offer to AFB. Dogs have also withdrawn and they’re going all in for Luai instead along with another prop who won’t cost them half as much as AFB.

Seems like only us and St Merge are in at this stage. Roosters will somehow enter I believe, nfi how but I think they will.

Just being a realist I really think flanno is going to get his man in AFB for 2025. Just a hunch which I hope isn’t true but we no flanno is a master at getting who he wants.

Works in our favour massively. Saints are a basket case. Also training in the gong is more of a pain than being in Sydney. Will come down to money or wanting to win a comp, not Flanno or Fitz.
