Another St Helens fan I know was saying his confidence still seems very up and down since the acl
But still disappointed to lose him
Yeah mate of mine whose a season ticket holder is disappointed, as fans know the problem is the coach (despite being top of the league) not the players

St.Helens have long been known for their entertaining brand of football, and under Wellens have gone to 5 drives to a kick - with no plan B.
Fans want him gone @ end of the season as theyre a shadow of a team that won 4 straight

Watched the game, Moylan looked good, was everywhere.

Leutele still goes good, hard to put down, still has some speed

Uncle Fitzy will bring Lachy Lam back to NRL
I'm glad Moylan is playing good footy again.

Roosters losing the following players at the end of the season

Joey Manu (Union)
Luke Keary (retirement)
JWH (super league)
Joseph Sualli (Union)

Then possibly

Angus Crighton (Union or other club)
Daniel Tupou (retirement)
Michael Jennings (retirement)

We need to lock Iro up now. Because they are going to have a serious war chest at their disposal.

They’ve signed the union bloke with a mouthful name. Extended May. Probably keep Crichton now. They love a vet back, Tupou could def stay on.

Money for sure but have spent some. Easily could afford to chase an Iro but seemingly didn’t go in for Lomax at 650k - you’d think roosters could have got him for a bit less even

Didn’t Fitz have a gentleman’s agreement in place with Roosters he won’t poach their players

Would like to think that goes both ways

“Like to think” away
It’s the Roosters, they are above any “gentleman agreements” if it is in their best interests

Let's not forget they've already added Young, Lenui and the bloke from Union. Won't be surprised if that's close to half.
Two of them signed for this season though. The Union bloke is rumoured to be on 550k. Still leaves 3.5 mil there for them to target whoever they like.

There’s not much on the market though. Will likely see a few Lomax situations I feel, players breaking contracts to go there.

I have no doubt that with JWH and Tupou extending for 1 year contracts some sort of transition was in place to young and Lenui. Possibly the replacements seeing a smaller contract in the first year etc.

They still have Teddy, Walker, Smith, Collins, Radley and Butcher. None of which will be on peanuts. Say they averaged 500k each too, which is likely unders. There isn't enough left for the rest of the squad.

Keary will be a big out and leave them with heaps of cash, but there's no way they'll have 3m + ready to splash.

Don't forget they'll likely need 500k in the bank to bring Manu back too.
