The NRL All Star Weekend!!

We have long been discussing who the fastest person is in the NRL & who the best goal kicker is.
Iv mentioned before, it would be good too see something similar to what the NBA does with their "Slam dunk contest", "3 Point shootouts" & the "Rookies V Sophomores" events.

We could have a..

1) The obvious 100m sprint.. Which would answer alot of questions.(1 player from each side)
2) Goal kicking competition.. Again 1 player from each side. Taking kicks from spots marked out on the field. Certain amount of misses and you're out!
3) Longest field goal.. Start at the 10m line and work your way back until you have no one remaining. Maybe incorporate the rule from high jump, Three misses & bye!
4) A Rookie Vs All Stars Game ( 1st Year standouts vs All the old fellas still trotting around)
5) The NRL's HOTTEST CHEERLEADERS.. This one speaks for itself. Which club has the best looking Cheer Squad (I personally would like to nominate myself as a judge)
6) The NRL's Strongest team... More like a 13 man Tug-o-War.

All this could be done pre season along with the Indigenous v All stars Game. It might make it a little bit more exciting.

Id scrap the Rookies vs Allstas game and just have the Indigenous v all stars. Other then that everything else sounds amazing

Goal Kicking
Field Goal
100 Meter spring

Kind of a props pentathalon type comp like on Fox

Have meet and greets throughout the day with players from clubs, Merch Stands (which means teams would HAVE TO GET SPONSORS BEFORE ROUND 1!) for each club.

Could really get the game out there with it. But IMO this all stars game is more for the indigenous than for anyone else.

possibly a skills challenge like the nba and they have to pass it into a whole and 40/20 and other things? itd be good to see which playmaker has the best skill

400m, 4 man relay race. 4 fastest players from selected teams to run 100m, pass the baton on to next player, ect..

The Kick-off sounds awesome, similar to the NBA, put them on a time limit, winner is fastest time and the most kicked.. Nww that would be something to see!

I like it, although get rid of the cheergirl competition, it's such a bogan part of the game. We want to encourage more females to attend games. Other than providing something fore male fans to ogle at, cheerleaders provide nothing to the game.

Cheerleader dont stop the game... they are there for entertainment before the game, during the breaks and just general cheering throught the game.. I dont see how they have any negative impact to the game... But each to their own, maybe you might like some male cheerleaders....
