It got heaps heavier once the tide dropped. parko v Adriano didn't look quite as enjoyable as a couple of the earlier heats haha. Parking copped a few sets on the head

Yeah when the title goes down to the final event it is epic. Especially when it comes down to a final like the Kelly/Andy one in 2003 that was just crazy

Kerr ended up beating Slater and Parko beat Kerr in the final.

There is a womens QS 6000 at Cronulla next week. Few CT surfers going to be there. Hopefully there's a decent swell. The alley ain't much fun in 2ft slop.

Yeah its gonna be full on full construction site for the last week setting up. smallish conditions this morning. a small south swell is building Sunday looking to be the best day.

Not going to be a bunch of kooks surfing These girls are going to be ripping they need the points for the QS next year.

Just found all the info on the wsl website. Looks like she's there from Round 3 along with a number of big names.

hahaha yep and she won the comp.

I was up the hunter valley for a music festival but saw some footage of the event surf looked tricky but some solid sets came through.
wow even bethany hamiltion was down at the event.

Congrats to her now she has made the women's tour next season.

Looking forward to the Andy Irons movie, he was an amazing surfer, and really the only guy that ever got under Kellys skin in a competitive sense. His demise is something i have witnessed in my own personal life and i cant wait to see this movie for the accounts of his living relatives and friends. Going to be very cool
