Would you take Talakai or Nikora for the bench spot if Wade and Teig are starting ?

While it would be nice to think that with reduced minutes Nikora could come on, go hard and do more in attack Talakai has a bit more utility I feel and also brings his own style of brute force impact. I think hes a better player with a future at our club. Nikora I am not confident in either of those things.

I would go with Talakai as he is a strong middle and can also cover second row in a pinch. He crapped all over Nikoras performance on the weekend despite getting less practice in trials ect.

He did crap all over Nikora performance but for 40/54 minutes he was playing centre, so not exactly a like for like crapping, more of a general crapping

true, but played out of position wouldn't be easier for Sifa. body shape like his would be nightmare to be a defender in the centres but he made a good account of himself it seemed

Yeah he's not especially built for it but at the same time he came through the ranks (U20s and into NRL) as a centre so it's not completely alien.

As Newtown is our feeder there is a weirdly large amount of 2015/2016 Rabbitohs U20s have had involvement with us, obviously him and Toby Rudolf in NRL
But loads of guys who played lower grades for us Garlick, Brock Gray, Gabe Hamlin, John Olive
maybe more. 2014 Rabbitoh NYC player Cam McInnes

Looks like they had a half I've played a little bit with as their 6 too. Looks like he played for Mounties last year but can't see where he is listed this year. Probably tough to get a run if there is guys like Wakeham and Flanju dropping back.

Went on a tangent there...

I agree - Talakai would also take less $

Talakai looks pretty good coming off the bench. Heavily involved with the ball and defense.

Has utility value at centre als.

He could start against Dragons with Teig suspended. Or put Nikora on the bench.

Only so much I can work with being from WA haha
Never played against Royce (fortunately!)
Played against Jordan Pereira though.
You must have been the favourite in the video review sessions mate 😄

I played I think one season with Harry Leddy (assuming it is the same bloke which I am fairly sure it is)
I hadn't heard of him - but as far as I can tell he was still playing for Mounties in RM Cup up until when it got shutdown last year. The RM Cup team lists aren't announced every week anymore - which sucks if you are trying to figure out where lesser-known players are.

Name dropping mate?
I’d pick a more high profile one next time.
😉
Can I play this game? :)
