Some realistic ones anyway.
We can't sign NRL players on overs. I find it hard to fathom how we'll attract Union players on what would be unders given the coin they earn.

Yeah but i'm almost certain that the Rugby clubs they play for could offer them alot more then what the Sharks can. If they come to a NRL team, then Brisbane would be my first guess.
But if by some miracle we do get them, imagine.... If we don't win the comp with those 2, then we may as well give up as a footy team.

And the ones we have at the club at the moment are so much better...
Snowden is just as Money hungry as Quade & $BW. Douglas is ditching out on us, Mannah may well be as well. I am sure if any of our older guys could get a run anywhere else they would have also. Smith and best are here because they are towards the end.
I am not a fan of $BW by any means.. in fact I think he is a wanker for what he did at the Bulldogs.
BUT I a) believe if we offered the coin we could get them as a package easily in our cap. b) Think it would drastically improve our squad and c) have lost all faith in loyalty with players anyway, so I say winning games is better then having "Nice guys".
I am not saying I think it will happen.. I am saying if they are an option, we should take them though.

I'm not getting my hopes up but how people can say this would be a silly thing to do is obscene! Not only will these 2 guys generate people through the gate, but think about the kids jumping out of their skin to play alongside the likes of SBW and Quade. Not so much the established players but the young fellas anyway

Just thought I would check today's date. No, its not April 1st. That's how much of a joke I think this story is.
I have stated before that I have no trouble with any league player getting the bigger bucks elsewhere and coming back to the NRL. But SBW broke a contract. He walked out on the club. No explanation. Under the cover of darkness. Disappeared almost bin Laden-like. If SBW had gone to the Bulldogs and said that he had issues and didn't want to play for the club anymore, surely they would have sorted something out. What SBW did was cowardly and gave no respect to his club, the NRL or the game. Unforgivable in my book. So I would not have him at all.

Wow, big call Murph. Quade played league as a junior, and would kill the NRL, IMO!!!
$BW is wasted in union, I feel that he is more likely to cross over than Cooper.
I actually reckon Folau would be a better target, but geez it's a nice dream to jag any of the above...
