I dunno if another big boppa would have made a difference. Like we just didn't have the ball, and at the few times we had it we kept dropping it. I don't know what really would have made a difference to the forward battle. Maybe a defensive player a Lock like Fensom or Mannering would have been something, but I dunno. I think they just played way too well. Best game Scott's played all year.

I agree that another big boppa ala our own Matt Scott wouldn't have saved us tonight. I am thinking more about next year with a couple of very capable halves.

The Cowboys were awesome tonight and I will be very interested to see how they fair in the premiership race.

Well that was a pretty ordinary game....

I don't comment on here often but I'm on here every day reading all your comments and appreciating this site.

I'm so angry at tonight's performance but in reality we were just completely outplayed. When it comes down to it we had a pretty good year and I don't think any of us would have thought we would make the 2nd week of the finals.

I am excited for next year and am hoping to make it to more games, we are moving in the right direction and I'm excited for the future.

Up up cronulla and I'm looking forward to reading all the insight of this forum over the off season (secretly snowman and sharks2010 are my faves ) lol

In hindsight, Fifita starting the game and Lewis coming off the bench after 20 minutes would have been a better option. Lewis's 4 or 5 brain farts in the first 20 minutes prevented us getting a foot in the door in the battle of the forwards.

...but then Fifita gave us his standard play the ball brain fart in our own quarter and we lost possession so it probably wouldn't have made much difference anyway.

The refs ruined our game plan and we weren't mentally strong enough to combat that.

Cowboys, to their credit, took full advantage and didn't take their foot off the throttle,

we panicked and threw suspect passes and kicked terribly.

From memory all of our ingoal kicks went over the deadball line.

Terrible night. Beer is my friend.

Needless to say, tonight was really disappointing. I thought we'd lose but not that convincingly. None of the early 50/50's went our way. How they didn't pick that forward pass up for the second try and Gallen's tackle early on was not a high tackle. At least I think it was Gallen, I'm too upset to remember.

We made big improvements for sure this year but I think a lot of that comes down to the fact we had minimal injuries. I don't think we'll have that two years in a row.

yeah good point, though I think the loss of that **** stain Robson and the inclusion of Maloney will make us far better. We need to start injecting some quality youth into the pack. Experience is all well and good to a point.
