That team means nothing, it is just someones opinion like ours. Nothing to do with the football side of the club.

My centres would be leutele/friz/bukuya and best.

They are backrowers man. They are only going to get bigger physically, so expect them to be in the forwards!

Back to the centre discussion as per the OP:

Best will be an automatic selection, so you've got plenty of other guys competing for the other spot. My personal preference would be to play Bukuya there, since he's better defensively than anyone else we've got. I'd rotate him between back row and centre, and give all of the young guys a taste of FG. As discussed elsewhere pretty-much everyone we've got is a left-side centre, except maybe Mills. Pomeroy and Wright have shown that they can play a supporting role, but not as our first choice right centre.

Left centre:

1. Best
2. Pomeroy
3. Leutele/Wright

Right centre:

1. Sign someone (Inu?)
2. Bukuya
3. Mills

Staying with Warriors =[

*I wish the Todd Carney thing happened a bit faster. A player might be more inclined to play in a Todd Carney Sharks outfit as aposed to.. Just the sharks.

Tinkler didn't. He can have Snowden. He won't be remembered 1/10 as much as Gallen. Dirt morals.

On the guy who named fifita in the backrow, I actually see him as a backrower. He isn't a prop, if he were to get fitter with his size, mobility and strength he would be an awesome edge backrower. In the pritchard mold.

Pomeroy hasn't re-signed with the Club. Thank god.

Despite the bed wetting that is happening over Carney, wing and centre are still our major weaknesses. Remember Flano admitting that we need some quality there after the first Souths game? No backs have been signed since- though I know we've tried.

As it stands, Best is an automatic selection to start the year... but maybe not to finish the year.

Of the rest, IMO Mills has by far the most talent. He has a big right foot step, a strong fend and plenty of strength. He still looks pretty raw to me- maybe its because he's had so much time off with injury. A year in reggies would really help. Just to get his body right, improve his reads in D and work on his line running.

Leutele I don't rate. Tries hard, decent defender, but just lacks the weaponry to trouble at NRL level.

Wright is perhaps the same... I would go close to being his biggest fan on here, but I have big doubts over whether he will be able to trouble defenders. Which is unfortunate because he's got everything else- great ball skills, great attitude, a good footy brain, some NRL experience and a liking for the physical side of the game. Maybe, just maybe, another off season will see him gain a yard or so of pace and/or that extra strength and weight that would make him an automatic selection for us given what the other options are. He could still make a smart, hole-running, skillful centre yet. I regard Gerard Beale, Yow Yeh and Hoffman as some of the best athletes in the game and testament to the Broncos ability to turn out great young footballers, but they only came good after they had turned 21. Wright only turned 20 this year! I think sometimes we forget that.

The other options are the backrowers- Bukuya, Frizell, Tagataese or Tupou. They might end up going this way and tbh, I wouldn't mind. Bukuya is the best suited there IMO but Taga would do the most damage. I would rather Friz not play there because I would rather see him packing on the kilos over the off season and making the right-side second row spot his by the end of next year. He's the best hole-runner at the Club and someone we have to extend early next year.

Of the younger guys, Pickerd is the standout but I really don't see him being ready next year. May get a game here and there if Ike is sacked and Gards is injured.

All in all, we simply must sign a winger and a centre before next year. What we have is not good enough. Everyone can see that. For centre I would be looking at Dean Whare from Manly and Inu. As for the wing, I would want to talk to Bill Tupou or Cooper Vuna if they're available plus try and gazump the Cowboys for Elijah Niko. A couple of speedy types on second-tier deals wouldn't go astray either. Pity about Kane Morgan.

I thought Stapo was a center playing on the wing!!!!

Hahah this was my post didn't notice that JimBob had logged me out.. Just on Stapo IMO he would go alright in the centers and as I said above I'm sure he was originally a center, they have tried to make into a winger.

I think he was a centre but I see him as a fullback>winger>centre. This is just my opinion though.
