:lmao:dougy: as a winger hotdog over all of them.

Yeah look Mills and Wright may well end up as the centres, so Hotdog can have wing spot then.

But I know what Flanno is like, he'll prob pick Best and Pommeroy in the centres, so no room for Hotdog sorry.

No Hotdog - well he's not in my 17 either. Makes me laugh sometimes the way some of you guys go on about this guy. Mills, Wright and Stapleton easily above this guy.

You are an idiot if you think Stapo and Wright are better than Williams. And out of the games Williams and Mills played, Williams was by far the more impressive

This is on Sharks website today

"The top squad: Gardner, Stapleton, Best, M Wright, Mills, Kelly, Townsend, Ross, de Gois, Gibbs, Smith, Gallen, Graham: Morris, Pomeroy, Tupou, Tagataese."

....means nothing... too early to tell .... but would be devastaed if fafita and bakya werent in there... especially knowing how big a fam flanno is of bakuya..

i prefer best on the wing and use some younger centres like letelue and wright.. poms to reserve grade... best on the wing should fix one of our biggest problems last year - defense our wide! and we gotta try new blood in the centres... as someone here already said.. the POM experiment has failed..

sad to say but if carney comes townsend or keely get dropped!

Hotdog is our best winger sad but true.

I don't think it's sad, sure we don't have a uate or someone like him but if we had half decent centres we wouldn't need gun wingers.

Williams is a great defensive winger, can finish and doesn't mind helping the forwards get out of trouble. Every good team has a winger like this. To add to that he is a 75% goal kicker.

Good post digits, and i agree! Very safe, can do a job, very happy if he is our first picked winger in our side next year.

I would take Hotydog on the wing over anybody in our squad. He has talent. Sure he is no Yow Yeh or Uate but he is a hard worker, great defensively, can finish and can kick goals at a good percentage.

If Pom leaves, I would like to see Mills/Best or Leulete/Best. I would rather see what Mills and Leulete can do with a solid run in first grade before we recruit a new centre, I reckon those two have got big things coming. If Pom stays, I reckon we'll start the year with Pom/Best.

I reckon it will be:
1. Gardner
2. Wright
3. Pomeroy
4. Best
5. Williams

The same as this year and we couldn't score points, how is this an improvement?

we have carney giving good ball. But I hope pom isn't with the club full stop and if he is it is for NSW cup and that only.

I'm not dissing him when I say it's sad, everything you have said is correct. Hotdog is a dam good winger but the sad thing is we don't have a strike winger to go with our safe winger. That will cost us in the points for department.

I am very happy we have Hotdog I just wish we had a strike winger on the other side. A Meritt, Uate, Vatuvei, Yow Yeh type player.

well I just wish we had a strike centre so that it wouldn't matter how much strike our wingers had :)

Your post is pretty accurate Matt. I'd say this is our strongest back line up, but I'm hoping Mills steps up, preferably in place of Poms.
