3 BEST

4 BAKUYA

Seen enough of Pomeroys hands. Wrights defence has been horrible in the couple of efforts he has had at centre.I do concede he is young and could improve.

Centre is so much like 2nd row these days that given an off season there Bakuya is the answer.(until he gets injured ! )

there is a second rower playing centre and then there is a centre

i would like to see actual centres such as Mills or Pickerd playing in the number 3 jumper.
Over seeing second-rowers who lack speed play there. It just doesn't look natural.

BUT the only two exceptions I would have would be Frizzell and Tagataese. I honestly believe Taga could smash it in the centres, hes got decent speed on him.

yeah fair bit of speed for his size. He can bust tackles as well. We didn't use him enough last season

I reckon the wing spots are less up for grabs than the centres because we have so few specialist wngers who cut it. Surely it's b/n Stapo, hot dog and best if he ain't in the centres. Hot Dogs a walk up.

I don't really rate Stapo.. dont get me wrong, great under the high ball, but he isn't really speedy for a winger. He's defensive reads aren't the sharpest either even though alot of the time Poms did eff up.

I rather have Mills and Williams on the wings. With Best and Taga in the centres.

Funny how people have such varied opinions on Stapo.

I think he is quality under the high ball, and is highly involved in the early tackles in attack releasing pressure off the forwards.

I am happy with him and hotdogs as our wings. But when we also have Mills and Wright looking for spots its hard to say who I really want?

Stapo is quicker than any of the blokes you listed.

Mine would be:

Best
Pomeroy
Bukuya (he'd be above Pomeroy if him not playing at centre meant he wasn't in the team)
Mills
Leutele/Wright (honestly can't separate them)
Stapleton
Kelly
Lelei

Don't want Friz or Taga anywhere near the centres.
