I'm sure you wont be saying that if we're 0 and 5 after 5 rounds...

Especially considering you've already written off Chad with his limited time and experience.

Who do you suggest we put in Pomeroy? I'm sure he will be able to catch a bullet by Carney

Thats easily done. can easily gain 5-8kg in an off season if that was his focus

5-8 kg is alot to gain for Pickard in 5 months most people cant put that on in a year even with correct diet and training, not to mention hes slight of build anyways so he not genetically prone to muscle mass, id say 2-4 kilos and 4 is probably pushing it, but you never know some poeple can put on weight very quickly

still 2-4 kgs of muscle is a lot , he will get bigger as the season goes on.

Plus with bulking he will gain some fat so he could end up putting on 5kgs genetics pending.

with the way he looks i doubt he'd put on much bodyfat, ectomorphs tend to have too fast a metabolism to put on body fat and need huge calorie requirements to put on muscle mass, my best mate was a little runt 6"1 and like 60 kg he hit 19,20 and all of a sudden 100kg so its def possible if he has the gentics i hope for the life of me he is genetically gifted to put on some kilos cos, hes a whole lot of classy talent!

He is quick, so would have more fast twitch muscle fibres. Fast twitch muscle fibres hypertophy more (get bigger). One this is for sure though, he will need to eat like a machine and hit the gym hard as to do it. 5kg is one kg a month. It is definetly doable. His hardest problem would be maintaining the increased weight (to the end of the season), more than putting it on.

I thought Pom played much better this year. His handling is of concern but if he's playing good football I'd have him in the team for sure.

It's simple really, it all depends on who's playing the better football. Perhaps the young guys will get picked and play well. If that's the case, then of course you'd keep picking them.

I certainly wouldn't be declaring that a backline like that was undroppable though. (if that's a word)

depends... if we are 0 and 5 due to no try scoring... Probably

if we lost 5 games 32 to 30, i would blame flanno and his 70 minute speach

what if we lost 5 games and the forwards cost us the game?

Then you'd drop forwards. If we have someone better to replace them with, that is.

I can't see any reason to drop Colin Best. He had one shocker and that's it.
