I don't think Fitz will start him, but it could be the wrong decision.

I believe this side needs to find some 'extra gears' and one way to do that is to inject Sam's pace into the side. I want him to get 20+ games in so at the end of the year he's comfortable and has time to build into the defensive system.

Over the course of the year, I see Stonestreet as someone who could win us games through a key break/finishing off opportunities we otherwise wouldn't. Sione will be more consistent and play at a high standard, but he's rarely a game breaker.

I agree, pure pace is something we really lack. That try he scored against the Warriors after Blayke's break, no one else in the team scores it.

I know he's a local and loves the club but I think if he doesn't have a clear pathway leading into 2026 we probably lose him.

I think he will too but nothing to do with his performance at the end of the year.

Called out 1 and 5 so at first I was worried we were losing both then just SS went off. Neither number one.

Saw the tries he scored last Sunday. Pure class, especially the first one. He saw Ison go through traffic, and just accelerated, within three/four strides, he was ready to receive the pass. Pure speed, great awareness, a joy to watch.

Would really suck to see him go. It'll be hard for him to get in the team next year barring injuries, but he's such a great prospect.
