I think Katoa is at his peak and Stonestreet has a much higher ceiling. Katoa gets first crack next season but I can see Sam taking the spot by round 10

Yep, if not Rd 10 but eventually and I think Stonestreet like Iro needs that’s FG experience to develop. They’ve done all they can in NSW cup

Can’t imagine Katoa is on much but it would be more than Sam so some cap saving there

Yeah I have thought for the past 12 months its a matter of time for Stonestreet to take his spot. I love Katoa, he is a very good winger and would be a starter at a lot of clubs. I just think stone street in the long run will offer more with the Arial threat and being the bigger body.

Katoa is 27 - contract expires end of 2026. Might be a potential signing for the new Perth team. With their being not much in our wingers besides Katoa, Ronnie & Stonestreet i don't see us releasing him prior to his contract ending.

My gut says Ronnie might ask for a decent upgrade and he may go elsewhere to get it.

If he won a comp with us 100% guarantee he would leave imo. If we don't in the next couple of seasons, I think he stays. The core of this squad have been together for years. Until they reach that final goal, I don't see too many leaving.

No doubt he loves it here, but he's also family first like most. If the offer was much bigger elsewhere I could see it. Will wait and see. I'd much prefer a Ronnie and Sam combo. Aerial threats on both sides.

From all I’ve seen, he is a sprinter, not enough motor for a fullback, and doing so would waste his speed

He has a few things going for him , if he got Injured or suspended could always donate his time at a post office licking customers stamps for them :)

I think as long as we can make a fair offer he stays.
If we try and lowball and he has a particularly good offer then leaving would be reasonable - I do think leaving to QLD would be most likely though.

Boys boys boys… are we getting rid of Katoa that quick ?

Sione has done a cracker job for us, that winger spot is his for another year, end of next year will probably be the time the call gets made

Don’t think Stonestreet has done enough to knock the big sexy off just yet
Nah, Katoa **** the bed on the weekend.
