I picture it like the end of Scooby-doo.

Barry grinning while Greenberg delivers the line “and we couldn’t have done it without the help of this kid”

Probably de-mask Gallen and reveal Flanno.

If the maximum sentence is 11 years they're stood down. Sounds pretty black and white to me.

I think it's a good move.

Except for the part where they go on to say that the NRL CEO can use his discretionary powers to stand someone down even when the charge is considered below line ( less than an 11 year maximum sentence)

No different to other codes.

Not saying it is any different to other codes, But it brings the clarity of the policy/ruling into question doesn’t it. So it’s not just someone who is charged with an offense carrying a maximum penalty off 11 year’s imprisonments who are stood down, but potentially those charged with a much lesser crime. Not really black and white after all.

Well it is for the most serious cases which is why there was so much outcry over bell end.

I doubt players on minor charges will be forced to stand down.

Than why would they specifically make that stipulation ( about the CEO having discretionary powers to stand people down on lesser charges) in the presser ?

Because it's necessary.

For example a player has been done twice for DUI and gets caught again. He's not going to jail for 11 years but **** him, should be stood down.

You can insert any number of charges for DUI. I think that's why they've done it, for repeat offenders.

Isn’t Dylan Walker a good example.

He ain’t going to jail for 11 years.

But I reckon he’ll still get stood down.
