To me we lacked energy, don't know whether that was because of the juice Monday's game took out of us or the fact we just thought we'd turn up and come away with the 2 points

Once prior went off we lacked all go forward, he was our best player on the field for us in my opinion. Once he went off there was no one who could take the first hit up and bend the line back getting us on the front foot to start the set

Our backs taking majority of the hit ups is a major concern, I get it you do it in conditions like last Monday but today it was happening far too many times when a forward wouldn't take a hit up till the forth tackle, penrith killed us in the metres department

Was really hoping on a dry like today barba would have came on and lifted the tempo for us, something needs to give, I don't think this current strategy is working, I don't mind him starting from the bench but he needs to come on at the 20-25 minute mark and shift bird to lock

I'm extremely disappointed in the teams effort today, not energy, no composer, no kicking game and for a dey track out handling was rubbish. Thank God for the two week break

A lot of times we seemed to be making hardly any metres out of our own end but when we went wide we'd make 20-30 metres but they only seemed to do it out of desperation on the 4th tackle, why not try it on the 2nd or 3rd tackle where we then still have a few tackles up our sleeve to play footy in the opposition half not just have to kick it being the last tackle

Couple of little thing in the 2nd like Holmes getting taking out on the sideline when he should have stepped in and taken the tackle and bird maybe should have passed it or taken the tackle instead of the grubber to Holmes. It's not the nyc don't need to score off every play.

Flanno will say discipline cost us, but we were too conservative in the 2nd half. needed to chance our arm from the 60th minute.

The whole side just looked flat and lacked effort in all could of been from last week but these guys are professionals and should be able to back it up, if they are not up for it replace them.
Penrith were more hungry for the rim where as our boys just expected the win.

I've heard that about them ;)

It's lame losses like this that put our recruitment and retention into perspective, we need to shed a few of these backrowers that are playing like props and actually get some props in. And robson can be the nsw cup captain next season.

I read in the paper this morn about Robbo wanting another contract. Robbo quoted he was looking forward to a big game against Penrith

Penrith were very good today. I didn't think we were too bad. Bounce of the ball didn't go our way a few times. Penriths forwards got over the top of us a bit. Nothing too much to worry about, just beaten by a better team on the day. Move on.

Agreed, some people always quick to want to make wholesale changes to our line up, reason why yous don't coach

Arona, Heighington and Robson are not worth it.
Disappointed in Bird today wasn't digging in.
Prior and Tagataese need more minutes. We need an overhaul in our halves.

Spot in ..Bad Coaching decision .
He should also be able to play an A Fifita role if he got a second stint .
Wide running wrecking ball .
All's not lost ..must beat the Warriors up next game .
I DO think we ran out of steam in the second half after that draining rabbit's encounter .
Will be interesting to see how they back up too .

Souths now starting to run out of steam too ?

He might have been . But coouldn't channel 9 use him today .
Gus trying to call the game with Lewis (useless) as his wing man just doesnt cut it .
Gus's saving grace is that he's still a 100 X better to listen to than Hadley .
