Awesome game, atmosphere was amazing, which begs the question, where the hell are these Sharks fans every single week?

One of the best performances in years from our guys, we are in form, but we gotta be careful, I think we'll be the favourites next week for the first time in ages, and we haven't handled that tag well. Gotta aim up against Parra.

More of a test against the Eels IMO. It's easier to lift against teams like the Dragons but can we do it in a game we are expected to win. Let's hope so. Hayne is playing on one leg at the moment so we will have no excuses. Can't have Flanagan being outcoached by Kearney, Mark Bastard will drop his bundle.

Finally home after our long, happy journey back from the Shire.

That was soooo brilliant winning against those grubs, in front of such a massive crowd. I loved every minute of it. I especially enjoyed the pissed off Dragons supporters sitting in front of us who were telling us to stop cheering so much....hahaha. Yeah, right mate.....That just made us cheer louder.

yeah melbourne

Melbourne have been leaking points actually. Just lucky enough to blow teams out of the water early and make it too far to come back from.

Last night was probably the best defensive 80mins for 2012 of any side.

Seriously? He went off his nut in full view of the camera when Gards dropped it.
A true captain encourages his team. Gards looks ***** scared off gals reactions. It seems gal was soo pissed off with Gards because he was part of that play.

To have a captain means your playing in a team environment. Gal needs to learn about that.
Why not pick Gards off the floor and encourage the young guy or perhaps step in when the opposition rough him up... Wouldnt that show young Gards " gal the captain has my back"

Its about knowing who needs a kick up the bum, and who needs a pat on the back. Everyone responds differently and I think Gallen would know his team mates a little better than any of us.

The thing was though it wasnt even Gardners fault, the pass was never on

The thing is though, Paul Gallen is never wrong. If Paul Gallen throws you a pass and you drop it, it is your fault. If you throw Paul Gallen a pass and he drops it; it's still your fault. So harden the **** up and try to be more like Paul Gallen and less like a little sissy girl...:good:

This question does my head in also.

Great team effort by all. Hard to single one or two out which I think is a good thing.

When Sharks first started regular Saturday night games in the mid 90's it was a sweet spot for the supporters of that era & club was pumping. Now it seems that they'd prefer Sunday arvos. Hard to figure out. Last night must have been record turnover for the club. Well done.

Don't expect massive Parra support next w/e yet if sunny, no excuse not to have 16k - 18k turn up. Get to the games guys & bring who ever you can with you.

Oh im sorry lets all do the basket ball thing and slap each others hands when we miss a shot. ffs its bull**** all this babying a player when they **** up.
Do you wanna send a msg that its "hey its ok i dont mind if you blew that play"
Or do you want to send the msg that hey, you **** up again im gonna rip you a new one.
Gallen rips himself so ****in hard everytime he ****s up, the rest of the team might not say a word to him but they dont have it. He is harder on himself then anyone else.

Look at JT at the Cowboys, he is the exact same way he is so ****in hard on himself. He doesnt need the coach or other players to do it. He is also one of the first people to blast his own team mates for ****ing up.

Watch Craig B in the coaches box during a storm game, if a player ****s up what happens? He aint saying, its ok mate you will get it next time. No, he blasts the **** out of them.

I don't mind a rev up but it wasn't Gard's fault. The pass was never on and he got checked on his run.

How good was last night?

To stand in a sold out Shark Park, surrounded by friends, relatives and neighbours is an experience I will never forget. How could you not want to be a part of it? If you weren't there, get to the next game!

I banged my drum so hard singing the Club song at full-time, I put my hand throught the skin! Repairs are required!

I brought along a workmate of mine who live in Penrith, as well as his two sons. One is a Sharks supporter. By the end of the game, I think they all were!
They all commented on how fantastic the atmosphere was, better than Penrith "by a mile". They want to come back for the Eels game next week!

Congratulations to everyone who got out to the game last night and made history; a sell-out crowd, a shut-out on St Merger and an atmosphere that can't be beat!
:cheers

It would of been on had Gards not been checked in his run. It was a bit of a set play, which involved a no look pass from Gallen which required Gards to be in the right place at the right time and he wasn't. I doubt Gallen new he'd been held up in his run.

Its all over and done with now anyway. It was over and done with 30 seconds after it happened as far as the players were concerned as shown through their defensive set after the error.

Well put. :good:

Saying Gallen is wrong is like saying Chuck Norris is wrong.

And if we learnt anything from last night.....

I wanted to go but couldn't due to work commitments. Had to settle for tv.

Flights are booked for next week though & can't wait. I'm hoping Pom suplexes the "Lame Train".

Also I thought i read somewhere on here that the only beer available these days at Shark Park is VB. Is this true or a horrible, horrible lie??
