After the game I was listening to 2GB when the Glen Wheelers show started, he played Up Up cronulla and talked about on how good that victory was.

Gotta love Glen and his passion.

Well do mate.

Best defense I've seem in a long time. Brilliant. John Morris covered degois well and stepped up. Bryce Gibbs is stepping up and finding his feet and had a corker of a match, fafita is starting to show his potential as well. Usual solid match from our back row and like chad said jeremey smith is a rock, one of my favorite players. Ben Ross is really impressing me and never shys away from the workload. I feel so sorry for poor gards, he's had no luck at all. I hope for his sake and ours it's not serious. He had a solid game bar a few errors from breaks which the pass shouldn't have been thrown. Hotdog and wright were solid as well, caught everything the dragons had to offer - except herpes. In all seriousness our centers caught he ball, defended well and looked dangerous. Carney and robson played well apart from the kick out on the full.

The dragons no try was controversial but in my opinion it looked like fro, the front on view his foot touched the line, remember it just has to scrap the white paint. Just rewards for the drop out we didn't get anyway!

That's my rant for the game, I was almost too nervous to enjoy it! What a game though, Sharkies keep it up! Great effort guys

I wana say im a little disapointed with Gallen's reaction to Gardner dropping a ball at one point in the match, Gardner got held up in support and Gallens little pass was way out infront of him and he couldnt take it and Gallen totally ripped into him about it, and Gardner had a few words back to him which I dont blame him for.

Was pretty uncalled for, he was never gona catch that pass.

I can sum up last night in one word "Amazing". Sorry if you don't like long posts but there is just so many positives.

-Amazing Win, I havn't been that pumped and excited after a Sharks Win in years. Not only was it a superb performance against a very good side but it further consolidates our position in the top 4. Exciting times. It's starting to feel a bit like 2008, we are just playing well across the park and I couldn't wipe the smile off my face all night and waking up today feeling good and still pumped. I had to explain to the new GF that i've been watching this team lose week after week and it's starting to change and it's a big deal! I know all the media are going to be patting us on the back as well which although they will turn on us it's a pleasant change regardless.

- Amazing Crowd, I know we won 3 on the trot but I was not expecting a sell out by any means. Well done Sharks fans. Was there many Merge supporters there? They usually travel fairly well.
To get the win in front of such a crowd and with a new sponsor really speakes volumes for us and where we are heading. I thought tonight was a result of alot of hard work over the last few years and could be the start of us turning the ship around. Proud to be a Shark and it's great to be winners again. Sometimes we forget theres alot of supporters outside these forums.

- Amazing Defense. The dragons wern't bad in attack but we were desperate and just refused to let them in or let fatigue beat us. It was great to see a quality team get frustrated by us refusing to budge. Our players communicated to shut down plays, something which has let us down in the past. Line speed was good and we hit hard as we needed to. I was nervous all game as usual but the Dragosn rarely looked a chance to beat us.

- Individual performances. I bagged JMO & Wright as potentially letting us down in this one but they were solid, enthusiastic and did their jobs well. No mistakes I recall of, was impressed with them. Happy to see JMO bag an important try for us. Best & Poms are playing out of their skin, so strong, I love watching them brush of players and also working well in defense. Gibbs and Ross are going great, just doing the simple things very well. I don't care about Snowy or Dougie not being here anymore. Graham has found his niche. Halves continue to make in-roads. Gallen still a bit too involved in the play but hes doing good things out there for us and JSmith is now a key part of this team.

Attitude was good. We made some mistakes but didn't let it get us down and change our game or energy.

- We still need to beat the likes of Melbourne and Brissy. Our 2 toughest challanges are yet to come.

Nice to have an easier opponenet next week in the EELS but the Sharks can't be complacent and need to keep that ruthless mentality and energy in their game. I really hope we turn up and have a try feast, good to watch and for our F/A but I feel it won't be that simple.

Just really happy for the players, staff, fans and club at the moment. Well done all round.

Id like to give a well done to mark taufua who ran stong, was damaging in defence and helped stop dean young from scoring... Unlike taga who shows no intensity in his running. A guy that size and speed should be a weapon.
Yeah thought he had a good game

HA! Gallen was more pissed at himself after he dropped that ball then he was at Gardner. Sign of a true captain when he blames himself more then his team mates blame him.

Seriously? He went off his nut in full view of the camera when Gards dropped it.
A true captain encourages his team. Gards looks ***** scared off gals reactions. It seems gal was soo pissed off with Gards because he was part of that play.

To have a captain means your playing in a team environment. Gal needs to learn about that.
Why not pick Gards off the floor and encourage the young guy or perhaps step in when the opposition rough him up... Wouldnt that show young Gards " gal the captain has my back"

If you watch one of the videos on the Sharks website, Gardner talks about Gallen and him having a little brother, big brother relationship. So I wouldn't read too much into it.

I don't want to start rumours or start **** or anything.. but does anyone else see a bit of on field tension between gallen and gardner?

From what I have seen and read about their relationship I think they are bit like big brother and little brother. Gards idolizes Gal so I don't think there would be any beef other than them feeling comfortable enough with eachother toblow off some steam if required.

Cameron Smith, one of the most successful captains of the modern era, fair ****in stuck it up his boys for getting sloppy towards the end of their last match despite the fact they had it in the bag. It shows intensity and desire. These guys are footy players, they don't need to have their tummies rubbed and their dicks sucked if they make a mistake.

I really enjoyed how Beau Scott had a point to prove in the lead up to last night game. Then went out and proved that point. The point that he is ****.

Does gal do that with senior players??
Nope. Support your f****** teammates particular players that are still trying to find their place
There is a difference with addresses the whole team rather than singling one player
And what because they are footy players means that they are tough enough to cope all criticism and don't lose confidence. Winning is built in confidence both as a team and as individuals
