Val has been slotting into the backline plays more as the season has gone on but the whole teams timing and execution needs more work - not just putting it on Val

Yeah but it's not even just about backline plays. Where's the support play? Feels like he goes through quiet patches and he's such a weapon that I want him sniffing around the ball more.

Just being around the ball and being in the right place at the right time are different things but a fair point regardless

yep! His urgency to get into position always has him somewhere in the vicinity. Not afraid of the try line
