Win and we finish 5th or 4th. This is a huge game. 5th and 4th are much of a muchness but both way better then 6th. 5th no second chance but avoid storm until GF, 4th and we play storm with a second chance bonus.
This 2017 team is very different to the 2016 with the loss of Ennis and Barba. But I'm watching the Grand Final at the moment and I reckon it would be worth the team sitting down this week and watching it together. The speed and intensity they played at in the GF is completely different to how they play this year, the players should be reminded of what they are capable of. Yes there are some changes to the 17, but bulk of the squad are still playing, they must still be capable of playing with that speed. Maybe watching the game again would given them a bit of positive reinforcement about what they are capable of.

Fingers crossed for Souths to cause an upset on Friday night so our boys have ANOTHER shot at firing up for the top four.

I think back to last time we played this mob and a lot of folks on here were predicting us giving them a touch up. We ended up winning by a late ****ing field goal. I dare say our blokes haven't really improved since then. I don't care how much we win by, just don't take these guys lightly again and win the ****ing game. 20-16 to us.
I think we'll win this game convincingly.
I also think that a lot of our missing pace this year is because of one missing player, Ben Barba. The way he wrapped around in attack kept the opposition second guessing and they'd back-pedal a bit. That gave us more room and made us seem quicker.
Doesn't explain the pace missing when we're defending though.
