Don't know if it's been mentioned yet, but did anyone else punch the air when we won the scrum feed? Don't see that happen enough anymore, loved the determination of the boys in that instance.

Probably one of the only scrums you'll see go against the feed this year. We need to see more teams try tactic, as long as it isn't against us.

I was going to fist pump but I wasn't sure if what I saw had actually happened

Thats right, given the opportunities that we did actually have, given our poor completion rate, we also crossed the stripe 3 or 4 times extra to the tries that were given, Todds was only just forward, and IMO Gal should not have been disallowed, I hate the new obstruction rule, the Sharks get flack for playing flack, but you run any sorta out the back play and its got a 75% chance of being called back for obstruction. Heighno was a bit silly for stopping, but at the same time, Creagh just pushed him, its not like Heighno got in his way while he attempted to get Gal, he went for Heighno, **** he already had his arms up crying like he does before Gal even ran past them
I agree, but it always baffles me that decoy runners don't keep running through the line till they're out the back of the defence basically, and then loop left or right to come back for the next play. Heighno should have been in the in goal when Gal put the ball down.

Two days after the game and I am still stunned we came away with that game.

We played absolutely horrible football, complete rate was third rate but a win is a win especially with a couple of tough games coming up.

Hopefully that will be the last game we play that badly again.

If we play like that against Easts at Remondis on Monday night, Easts won't let us off the hook like the Goons did.

I thought we were unlucky with some of our no try calls as did the Dragons supporter I went to the game with.

Agree with all of that. Easts will put 50 on us if we play like we have the past two games.

I don't know how a team as unadventurous with the ball as us makes so many mistakes. I could cop it if we were a team that threw the ball around.

Still, as poor as we were it's a good sign we stuck in there and won it. I'd love to beat St George in a GF like that.

Pleasantly surprised with Pom's game as well.

And FMD what about the forward pass call from the re-start? Yes, the pass was forward but that happens multiple times every game. That made me furious.

Was thinking the same thing as well, imagine if we did throw it around, we would have around a 25% completion based on Saturday nights game.

Reffing was awful.
- Feki's no-try was NOT a forward pass.
- Lewis's should have been called a try because it was called a try by the on field ref and you could not see the line clearly on the replay (thus no clear evidence).
- It believe Fafita got called for a knock on for a sloppy play-the-ball. The Dragons had about half a dozen of them
- Brett Morris's try should have been disallowed
- The Dragons walking off the mark was probably the worst I've seen in a game this year
- The obstruction call on the Gallen no-try was laughable, and a big call in the game because the Dragons scored of that penalty (12 point turnaround)

... but we played badly

... and we still won - wow!

I saw a guy walk about 5 metres forward after being called held in the NZ v Penriff game yesterday. No Penalty. Couldn't believe it.

I thought we were quite fortunate in the end, it seemed we did all we could do lose that game.

I honestly thought the video ref was quite kind to us by making that decision very quickly, at first glance I thought the ball was grounded by a goon (nightingale I believe?).

Gallen was back to his best, insane crunches in his hit ups.

no way in the world should Lewis' try been given, clear promotion of the ball, was only a slight promotion but he still promoted the ball
