Germ survives the axe

I am so ****ing pissed off that germ survived the axe after what he did to us.

Robert Finch, you also are a ****ing incompetent wanker.

Typical Goon screwing us over.

The whole rugby league world saw that Robinson robbed us.

Put a broom through the referees ranks and start again.

They are so ****ing rubbish.

That germ cost us two competition points last Saturday.

Chris James and Steve Lyons better not do the same thing those idiots last weekend.

UP UP CRONULLA!!!!!

Fair dinkum, Jason "The Germ" Robinson is the modern day version of Greg Hartley.

Hartley had a love affair with Manly and Germ has a love affair with the Tigers.

The NRL referees ranks are totally ****!!!!!!!!!!

Asked how Robinson could survive after such a basic and costly blunder, Finch replied: "Do you think I'm going to drop him for that? He's survived [to referee Saturday night's match]. He's fine."

ZFinch neglected to mention Robinson costing us the win against Manly last year

The diabolical send off of Dougy

The only scrum penalty in 10 years

The missed offside

the overruling of the other ref to give tigers 6 more

and so on and so on

Finch is a goose

What do you expect Squiddy?

Finch is a Goon, pure and simple.

He is just a typical Goons idiot.

Drag Queen territory.
The entire NRL management needs a cleanout. Starting with Finch.

As for the referee debacle, I'm seriously considering whether it's worth trying to become a rugby league referee. If there isn't anyone good enough to replace Robinson and his ilk...well, it can't be that hard to work my way up.

Here is the right place for it, mate.

Sharks confused by penalty option
BY BRAD FORREST
03 Aug, 2010 02:45 PM

COACH Shane Flanagan described it as the "worst option''... and centre Ben Pomeroy was as confused as anyone.

"It is just a shame we didn't get a penalty out of that incident, if not a try,'' Pomeroy said.

Referee Jason Robinson's decision to instead penalise Pomeroy, after he was pushed by a fourth Wests Tigers' tackler and "scored'' a try, is as puzzling a decision as any that have come up this year.

The incident came late in Saturday night's game at Leichhardt Oval, which was certainly in the balance.

A try would have given the Sharks a win they've been looking for. Instead, the Tigers hung on for a 24-22 victory.

Robinson appeared to badly err, first by calling ``held'' despite the fact Pomeroy was still moving in a gang-tackle, before he was then propelled a second time towards the line where he placed the ball on the line.

Robinson could have gone to the video referee for a ruling, which should have seen the Tigers at least penalised for the extra man in the tackle after the "held'' ruling.

He instead penalised Pomeroy for "reaching out'' after he'd ruled "held''.

"It was probably the fifth option and the one I would never have expected the referee to make,'' Flanagan said yesterday.

"We should have at least got a penalty, rather than the other way around.

"[Until then] he hadn't called held, early, all game. He let players wrestle and push and shove and get players to the ground ... then all of a sudden a bloke's still moving and he's called held.''

"Wests Tigers have pushed him over the line.''

Skipper Trent Barrett, who'd seen other incidents go against them like the Paul Gallen "try'' that wasn't given video referee examination at Toyota Stadium [against the Dragons] was equally confused.

"He was still moving forward, that's what I don't get,'' Barrett said. "How is [he] held when he's still moving forward? If the try gets awarded, we win.''

Pomeroy added that he was "tackled'' in the direction of the tryline. "There was not much I could do about it. I was a bit disappointed with it.''

But at least Pomeroy can continue his resurgence with the Sharks, having successfully undergone skin graft surgery for a hand injury he carried for more than a year.

"I've got my confidence back now, even though I will probably have to keep some wrapping around the hand for the rest of my career,'' he said.

Flanagan was also upset over a no-try ruling to winger Blake Ferguson, who was adjudged to have gone into touch in the 52nd minute as he went to plant the ball down in the corner.

I actually think Robinson is one of the better referees going around. And I feel sorry for them that if they make say five bad decisions out of a few thousand in an 80-minute game they get crucified... no wonder they're under-confident.

We had enough chances to win it on Saturday, you can't rely on the ref calls going your way.

I wouldn't mind Robinson but he seems to have a vendetta against us.

It seems every time he is referee we lose.

I find it mind boggling why we don't win when he is referee.

It does go with the territory with being a referee/umpire in any sport.

Cricket umpires get totally crucified if they get a decision wrong.

Take former Australian Test umpire Darrell Hair, he was sacked after he caught the Pakistanis ball tampering in a Test match after the Pakistanis chucked a big tantrum about it.

I struggle to agree with you mate. Some of his incompetent decisions in the past have halted our momentum in games and the other night was just a howler. Starting to wonder if Robinson is having a love affair with Robert Finch as well as the Tigers!!!
