In the presser shep said the players basically ran the sessions and called the shots. So in my opinion he didn't add too much. He probably just gave some reassuring speech to the boys last night.

What a great win. Never a dull moment supporting this club. We've shown what we can do with some momentum, just need to start well next week.

Shepard was coach by label but the players were the ones that won last night.
No offence to Shepard but I'd love him back with the 20's developing our next crop of 1st graders and BK for remainder of this yr and assistant next.

I couldn't believe we won this.

I was out at an annual dinner for my theatre group and wasn't able to watch it. But I followed it on my phone when I could and again like last week I almost switched the phone off at 24-0.

But being the fan I am I couldn't do that and kept sneaking peeks in between the main meal and dessert. At 24-12 I knew I had to keep with it and much to the annoyance of my wife who thought I was being very rude, I reported scores to a close mate of mine at the same table who is also a huge Sharks fan. When it got to 28-24, I leant across the table and let my mate know the score and we both quietly excused ourselves and walked over to the side of the room to follow the last five minutes on the NRL chat.

We both erupted as Robson went over and then cowered like scared kittens during the last minute and that "held up" try.
We returned to the table grinning like Cheshire cats the minute the game was over. The victory was a bit sweeter for my mate as his ex-wife was at the dinner and she is a Roosters fan! Ha! :p

Great win to the boys! I've watched the highlights and will watch the replay, probably second half only, later today.
Makes next week's game against the Knights better to look forward to and dare we dream to lift ourselves off the bottom and be out of contention for the spoon. Long way to go before we can say that though.
Yeah Im a Ambo and I was watching the score on my phone while at work , Bragging all day we were gunna give it to the chooks , what a game , considering the week we have had couldnt have writen a better ending myself , Ill wear my jumper to work tomorrow, UP UP CRONULLA

The best thing about the match besides the fact we won, was the flare we had. We actually looked dangerous with the ball, we made line breaks, we broke tackles. I think I think alot of it is credit to the young backs we have and of course nu brown

I've loved reading all the happy stories of how we watched the game, so I thought I'd share mine.

I was at the Commercial Hotel in Parramatta and wanting to watch the game as I was there with some uni friends, none of them Sharks fans and only really one or two League fans. After the first try or two I had given up the game, yet still watched it because it'd be rude not to. Jokingly at 24-6, I said "The comeback is on!". To be honest, I was just happy we scored a try, keeping it within 20 would probably have been a bonus.

I thought we had a chance at 24-18 and even at 28-18, there was still some time left. So after copping so much **** from my friends on how crap we are and this and that and the Carney banter, with every try we scored, my mates started cheering us on.

Anyway, so the table we were sitting at didn't really have enough room for me to sit at and to be honest, I didn't want to sit down because I was too nervous! Once Robson scored that last try, I was pacing up and down and after Gordon slotted that kick I thought we just have to hold on. At this point I was pissed because the ref stopped the clock. Some games they do this, some they don't.

I was having flashblacks to the Cowboys game last year when the Roosters went over but thankfully the result was the same. I couldn't believe we had pulled it off. I pumped the air with delight and some random guy said up the Sharkies! Definitely amazing scenes and the crap I copped was worth it. I was drunk off excitement but the beer did help a little! :p
