Youre grasping. Ronaldo has form for coughing up the ball with his poor ball security, if this was a once off noone would care. It happens quite a bit. Noones bagging him as a player cos we know how good he is, but he is getting too complecent and too careless. I dont care a try was scored the next set, thats the teams fault. But his poor ball security has cost our team the chance to put pressure on and be the team with the momentum.
Okay pal

It was early in the game but if Ronnie holds that ball after his break and we either score from the next play or get a repeat set, things could have been much better. A try would have given us the confidence hit we would need to keep going.

I’m not saying we should blame the loss on that one handling error but it was a case of our usual thing of missing an opportunity and then letting the other team score.

love him but ball security is definitely a problem, seems to lose track of were he is at times too,
Has bombed too many tries this season for it to be a coincidence.

Someone should show him video of ET scoring tries, he was solid

The problem is he is a left winger who carries the ball in his right arm, which exposes the ball to the defence coming across. Like the Ilias knock out.

That’s sounds more like an issue of team composure, experience and leadership than the result of an error.

I’ve only just watched the press conference and it’s very interesting that Fitz mentioned that once we lost momentum we were never able to get it back.

When did we lose momentum?

Well that was when Ronnie lost the ball, so I’m pretty much sticking to my view, given that the coach shares the same one.

One of a handful of early pivotal moments for sure. Moves like that really get the other teams tails up too, look at Ilias in round 1. Still don’t think he’s played a game half as good as that since.

Only thing that went our way (through our ineptitude, bad lack, good play by then, poor refereeing) in the first 30 was successfully challenging a bad knock on call. All that did was let us have the PTB we were due against a more set and rested defence.

I hear there is an opening at right centre. He's got some good footwork. I'd love to see him given a go with stonestreet taking left wing, if only for fan service.

We couldn't get momentum because we couldn't make our tackles and keep it tidy in the ruck so Dolphins kept scoring and kept getting the ball back and then scoring again

The game might have been different if Ronnie setup a try instead of having the ball knocked out but hey the game might have been different if we started a benchy or wore a different jersey, whatever it doesn't matter cause that Ronnie thing was very early game and our defense and execution was terrible

We don't want it to be in that state regardless of having an early game line break or not - it shouldn't be a deciding factor, certainly not for a 30 point turn around against us

Even if we played well and had a bit more love from the ref I still think we were in for a tough game, no certainty we win

He was their target for majority of kicks & answered every task. Everyone sticks on a couple ****ups but seem to dismiss a solid as **** performance like that.

I can think of 3-4 ****ups from him over 10 games. Against Manly he was called on at least 8 times & didn't ****up.

Fair

But can still minimise “some” of those **** ups which are from a lack of concentration or sometimes cockiness.
