Who was saying he was the best winger in the game? He can't even do the basics.

Poor carry early tonight again.
Gets the ball knocked from his hands way too often and too easily, Effectively resulting in a 12 point turnaround as Momentum switched directly after that moment and we never got it back until after they’d scored 30.

Gees you’d have to be hard up to be giving him grief about losing the ball whilst getting monstered from behind after making a break

He has a habit of having the ball knocked from his hands way too often.
It‘s at that moment that momentum swung their way.
We were winning the field position battle up to that point and we couldn’t wrestle moment back until after they’d scored 30 points and by that time, it was game over.

He lost the ball on their 10 metre line, we did not lose the field position battle because of that.

So if Nicho kicked it and it bounced out at their 10m line, would he be blamed for losing the field position battle if they went 90m of the next set?
My point was that after that mistake (losing the ball which he does to easily at times), we also lost momentum and the field position battle after that and never recovered until after their 30 points.

Happy to have a different view than you but that’s how I saw it.

Youre grasping. Ronaldo has form for coughing up the ball with his poor ball security, if this was a once off noone would care. It happens quite a bit. Noones bagging him as a player cos we know how good he is, but he is getting too complecent and too careless. I dont care a try was scored the next set, thats the teams fault. But his poor ball security has cost our team the chance to put pressure on and be the team with the momentum.

It was early in the game but if Ronnie holds that ball after his break and we either score from the next play or get a repeat set, things could have been much better. A try would have given us the confidence hit we would need to keep going.

I’m not saying we should blame the loss on that one handling error but it was a case of our usual thing of missing an opportunity and then letting the other team score.
