We have a tough number of games coming up. We still have Broncos Roosters & Cowboys to come. All fellow top 8 teams. If Maloney & Bird return sooner rather then later we may be able to beat those 3. Otherwise we have Canberra & Newcastle.
I'm more worried playing teams out of the eight. We anyways step up against the top teams.

Thought Clydsdale did a decent enough job. Hasn't played a great deal of first grade and considering he's only new to the club I thought he held his own

I am in no way comparing us to melbourne but maybe we are becoming a more professional ran club where we can get these less known players to do a job just like Bellamy does for the storm.

Overall it was a decent win. A bit scratchy but I thought chad did a good job controlling the game. Apart from the kick out on the full where he just got in a bad position the rest of his kicking was spot on.

The nu incident is a hard one. He did lift his leg but nu had his head in the wrong position so it was never going to end well.

Segeyaro needs more time. Shame he broke his arm cause we'd be seeing the best of him if he didn't have 3 months off

Agree with thresher also, there's a significant drop when fifita, prior and gal is off, ava will help that next year and while latimore does a decent job when need someone with a bit more punch to partner ava off the bench next year

Also wtf is the go with rts catching the ball while standing out off the field of play before it hit the ground. The ball isn't deemed out till it hits the ground I thought. 1, how didn't they know the rules and 2 why wasn't it overturned

Should have been our feed

I dont remember this moment but there was the 1 where their winger tried it and caught it before his foot got to ground. Ourr feed.

Thats the rule though. Like a kick off. If the player is in touch and catches/touches the ball its deemed out off the kicker or whatever.

I thought you still had to have one foot in the field and one out for that to take affect? That's the only scenarios I've seen that rule work. Peachey was a master of it. Looked like RTS was completely out of the field when he took the catch. Can anyone clarify?

Not as far as i know. Like when the ball rolls dead. If a player is standing dead and gets the ball before it hits the ground its deemed the ball is dead off the kicker. No rule about 1 foot either side

Overall a good win without Maloney, bird, Brailey and Nu going off mid game. Exactly the type of performance I was expecting. We can't switch off for the raiders game, they will be tough regardless of where they are on the ladder

I think it could be a case of being a winning side and there is a culture of not wanting to let the team down. Getting the best out of your fringe players can be so vital at points in the season.

Chad has been stepping up lately. Compared to this time last year he's really improved. I've been impressed with his kicking over the last couple of games. Hasn't overkicked the ball and placed it perfectly.

Last nights game wasn't really memorable or anything but it was a nice win and glad to take the two points. Thankfully, Brisbane got beat so that helps us out.

Saw this on the replay his morning. Chad was blowing up. They showed a brief replay but no comments from the commentators.
