I seriously don't think any of you understand how much actual work goes into the back end of running this site.

Sorry fitz - but believe me I do.

I was a systems administrator at my work for over 10 years - even wrote & installed our fleet management system.

Let me say I'm very much appreciative of the work you do in the maintenance of this site. I understand the effort, especially considering this is all done in your "free" time.

But what are we doing that's so wrong?

We are not being serious boring ********s, who only want to discuss a point of view and complain about referees and argue about who is right or wong in a mature manner. Or put simply, we are Team Gronk and we make to much work for Fitz, we annoy the boring serious wankers on this site and seriously, they would like us all to either conform or leave.

I do agree there is plenty of gibber posted. Especially in the who to sign/ rumour mill threads

But it's all some how sharks related. So what's the problem ?

I think one of the problems is the rep system being used as a contest to see who can get the most, It was meant to acknowledge someones effort or quality posting, sort of like a little thankyou if you know what I mean.

I believe what needs to happen is we ALL need to keep threads on track and not resort to personal attacks or drifting off topic. Looking for the correct thread to post in, sometimes it might as well be one big thread.

It dose take alot of effort to read through all the posts, remove content and move posts to their correct threads etc. I Know how hard this with everything going on outside of the forum, family and work commitments

But for this site to continue to work well we ALL must do our little bit.

I've got no dramas with banter - just keep it out of the football threads and serious threads.

how many of the real serious threads have dribble in them such as the stickies in the main forum? there is a time and place for complete seriousness. rumor mill is not one of them.
