Thanks for putting them back up. I am in agreeance that the rep was being abused, and I am not so concerned that was gone. Post counts I would much prefer stay though. Were the rep points amended when restored by the way? Just asking as I went from 12 to 9. Cheers

All I'm reading here is people saying that they want all the benefits and advantages of this forum without the implicit obligations and responsibilities.

If that isn't the definition of immaturity, I don't know what is.

Makes no difference if a Gronk or not Beej. If the tag Gronk never existed, the banter would still be there.

Too right! - TeamGronk only originated from members of this forum (who happen to live miles apart) getting together at games - surely this is a good thing?

Yes it is a good thing! TeamGronk has brought together people in a way that is 2nd to none.

I agree with you. I think you mistook what I meant in my op though.

Fitz, I understand what you're frustrated with - but the bolded part? Many of us here contributed (I think substantially) to a lot of the fund raising initiatives presented on here...

Sure we like to joke & socialise - but name a forum where that doesn't happen.

Round 26, a bunch of us Gronks turned out to the game - bought between us huge amount of merchandise and supported our boys.

If it wasn't for this forum's banter - it may not happen.

It cost us many dollars to just get there and stay the night. I know having the boys from this forum to meet up with was a major factor in getting there. I managed to get 7 additional people to that game and we spent a bucket load back at the club and in merchandise. That only happened because of this forum.

If we are so immature and abuse this forum, does that mean the Sharks don't appreciate what this forum and it's immature members bring to them.

I know that you, me & bjr went home with those awesome jackets, not to mention gal shirts and other stuff...

And that's only what I noticed - everybody else in our group bought heaps too.

S1 would have gone home with extra gal shirts, if he didn't lose them. Still he went and purchased more. That is commitment!!

I've got no dramas with banter - just keep it out of the football threads and serious threads.

Some of us don't want to see EVERY THREAD polluted with puerile and juvenile nonsense.

"Just as I have the right to the benefits and advantages of respect and freedom of speech and opinion, so too do I have a responsibility and obligation to be respectful and tolerant of other people's freedom of speech."

"As you sow, so shall you reap."

It is the basis of civility, community and democracy.

I seriously don't think any of you understand how much actual work goes into the back end of running this site.
