Don't expect to see Sharp at the club next year.

Flanno thought he had more to give than he has shown. Sharks now want BK.

Flanno doesn't mind one bit that we are struggling this year - obviously makes him look better.

I also heard that ET offered his services to mentor the backs (as Sharp knows nothing about them). Sharp never took him up on the offer.
False on all accounts.
Save the ****.

I'll concede that the statement 'Flanno doesn't mind one bit that we are struggling' is perhaps wrong. It probably hurts him to see us battling. But you can't deny it does make him look better. A lot of politics being played out at the club at the moment.

The rest is not false on all accounts as Sharky14 claims.

Its funny that some of you sniff around for info and then shoot it down when provided.

And yes, BK = Brett Kimmorley.

Peter sharpe not being here next year- False

Flanno is devastated.
Dont argue with a bloke that has regular contact with club officials, I needn't sniff, I am the smell.

I'd call you Sharpy but I don't think he would give a **** enough to be on a forum, and if he did all his posts would say the same thing "Tried hard, just weren't good enough"

Ok Sharky14 - tell your club official contact to have Sharp contact ET. He is willing to help.

No point bagging sharp. He doesn't have much to work with, an ageing pack of forwards, and some that are just not up to it, carney is injured every week, ordinary centers, and does he play a couple a couple of kids, get pumped every week and have there confidence destroyed ? Im positive he wouldn't have signed holdsworth, or had a choice to punt a few of the so called first graders that are already on contracts.

If there is a positive to take from this season it is that once flanno returns we need to get on the front foot pay overs don't care really and target a real good quality assistant coach need one as much as we need descent backs, sharply seems liked by the players seems genuine guy and hadn't had much cattle this year so I'm more than happy to go be assistant coach of nsw cup,

Question that's been bugging me.

Why do people think Sharp will be a great assistant coach for the club, when he has clearly shown he has no idea about coaching a first grade football team?

What exactly is it that he will be offering next season as the Flanno's assistant?

It seems to me that he has shown this season, that he really doesn't have anything to offer apart from being "a good bloke" as that's all I see people saying. Wouldn't you prefer someone who is keen as mustard to prove themselves into a first grade coach, and that brings this enthusiasm into the club for training and on game days?

I sort of feel sorry for the bloke, he probably took the role on as a favour to some & in the process has copped an absolute hammering from everywhere, I know most on here will say he deserves what he gets etc but he's got nowhere to hide & he keeps fronting up week after week.
