Practically, I think it would be near impossible to coach a team from afar.
The best he could practically do is instruct a few training drills and team selection. Even that would be difficult and ineffective. How can you make those type of calls if you're not there to observe?

As much as Sharpey is a spud, and it was a mistake appointing him in the first place, our injuries have gone far beyond a joke now. Makes no difference who the coach is now.
yep. 11 first graders out this week ... you cant win football games with that much talent on the sidelines

Neck injuries? Ankle sprains? Nothing you can do will avoid that.
The muscle stuff maybe but you cant always prevent injuries
Lets hope it doesn't carry into next year.

On the 16th of March, at the height of the initial ASADA scandal I started this thread. Looking back my initial assessment of this guy I couldn't have been more wrong. To hear now that the players are starting to revolt against him demonstrates his poor ability as a coach. That said, Flanno has to take a large part of the blame also. He signed Ayshford, Prior and Holdsworth. He never once gave Peachey and Townsend an opportunity to establish themselves in their positions. Preferring to play older, more injury prone players. Then he let them go. ( It's wrong for those to say that Peachey left for more money because he deserved the combined money that Prior, Ayshford and Holsworth are getting -astute judges could see that! )
With the season gone and before he is shown the door Sharp needs to pick the following side (considering all players are available as they say they are) After this, we need a new assistant coach, Starting in September this year.

9. J Morris
10. A Fifita ( they won't know which one is running at them)

I have to agree. It is bad luck and apparently our turn. I'd say two or three clubs seasons are completely destroyed each year not just one.
