Yes you could be right but I think Flanagan has more pressure trying to give the wooden spoon to another club next year.
ps I see all these young kids like Luke Brooks, Dylan Walker Alex Johnson,and Willis Meehan get a chance to make there mark so who do Cronulla give a chance to Eric Groathe Holdsworth

I'd argue that any coach who's 2/3 in regards to making the finals is doing a pretty good job.

(I don't count his half year in 2010 as a failure as no one would have been able to fix that Sticky infested excuse for a season).

Plus why are you angry at Flanno in regards to juniors? He's debuted a lot since he started.

And basically 85,000 is oretty well base salary and a young player with great potential would be earning alot more if they were promoted.

Surely the juniors never getting a run argument is starting to lose strength, what we have lacked is QUALITY JUNIORS, more than enough get their chance unfortunately most ain't able to capitalise (cease the moment gagan and brown)

They were. Terrible band and an even worse name. Amazing these Hollywood stars that think they can sing.
Only one exception I think. You'll remember the Blues Brothers HB. John Belushi was not a great singer at all but the way he used to belt out the Blues Brothers songs made sense and he and Ackyrod actually blended together well.

But seriously yes I agree. Our problem seems to be scouting/developing juniors, not trying them.

I actually think Flanno is a very good coach of senior players, but seems to be a but lost when it comes to mentoring a young bloke. Maybe they need to get an assistant coach on staff who can do this.

i dont think we have much of a problem developing them. We now have a feeder club in qld i believe? Something new. Before it was basically shire kids and a few blow ins, you cant expect to uncover 3 diamonds a year in that.

Look at Melbourne, they do develop juniors well, but thats more in scouting the talent to get there in the first place. Cos Melbourne doesnt have a big junior system like sydney/qld based clubs. They are gettin the players from these parts

I heard that mentoring younger players is supposedly one of Tony Herman's strengths.
