we need our board to make some hard calls and be agile.... surely Sharp has not produced and has also confirmed he doesnt want the gig...why not bring someone in cheap or within the ranks that wants a future coaching role - im sure Lance Thompson or someone can just step in for a cheap fee or Gallen can captain / coach or even give Herman a few mths experience.
Why bother paying for it when Flanagan is due back in a couple of months and the season is gone? Flanagan should have been sacked (or just not renewed) and we should have moved on. Instead, we gave him an extension and paid him for a year while he is doing nothing. It's crazier than an Asian betting on a Victorian Premier League match.

Was just reading the post match review for the Drags v Rabbits game and seeing how Paul McGregor was talking, it was just so positive and constructive and he genuinely seemed excited and grateful for being given the care taker role. yes, they lost last night but he was talking about moving forward and aiming up week after week. Then we look at sharp who just sits back takes no responsibility and looks like he is too busy thinking about his next feed rather then where the team/club is going.

I honestly think Sharp needs to take a really good look at this. I am not saying he doesn't CARE but you can tell he isn't enjoying the job and isn't putting in 100% ever single week - you can see that in the way the team plays.

I dislike Sharp immensely as a coach, it was a massive mistake to give him the gig. But to be fair, you could say the same thing about Bennett's and Hasler's demeanor at press conferences.

Bennett and Hasler have got pride in their roles, passion if you will. Hell, hasler's team is leading the comp - that's the difference they have the results to back it up... we don't.

Not saying they don't, just saying purely on demeanor at a press conference there isn't much difference.

And I think Sharp is a spud of the highest order.
