Shut thread down seriously, I can't believe some of the comments on here.

Gallen was the only reason that I tuned into Sharks games last year, there have been 2 games this season give him a break!

Ricky stuart Change him from a work horse and wanted to make him more of a ballplayer .

Paul Gallen would be the best decoy runner in our team - fact!

Imagine Carney going to the line with Gallen running a flat outside in line off his hip carney pumpes the ball to Gallen then throws it out the back to Pom (ohh god) who is running an inside out line into a gap big enough to drive a bus through!

Seriously any defender in their right mind would slide in to take Gallen.

people are getting a little carried away here thinking gal is getting carved up on this thread...I dont think its that way at all.we all rate him highly and most agree that he could do more for us on the paddock by doing less...if that makes sense

Just because Gallen is turning into the next sharks legend doesnt make him imune to criticism. He has been overplaying his hand trying to be a prop, lock and playmaker for a long time and it hurts the team. And the team wont move forward properly until this is rectified. The good judges on here can see that and can discuss the issue. I guess you're not one of them.

The funny thing is, if Gallen sat back and just hit the ball up and run some decoys and we where still losing, all of you would start bitching that Gallen doesnt do anything and needs to get more involved.

Gal needs to be moved to prop.ASAP!
We cannot afford to have graham on the bench.The bloke aint no 5/8 but he is a back rower,who can make plenty of breaks out wide, and Gal is the one that needs to move to accommodate him.

Gallen is both. He helps more then he hinders. But I don't think he is a lock. He lacks the ball skills to be a lock. Bird was a better lock

GAL WOULD ALSO BE EXCITED ABOUT THE STRENGHT OF OUR PLAYING ROSTER THIS SEASON. BECAUSE HE IS THE MOST COMPETITIVE PLAYER IN THE WORLD SOMETIMES ITS A FINE LINE BETWEEN DOING EVERYTHING YOU CAN FOR YOUR TEAM, TO OVER DOING IT,
