Yeah there’ll be some good ones, just don’t have any sure things yet like ‘whoever the new panthers winger is’ of previous seasons

Bostock is another. I’d like to see him up his work rate in trials but currently apparently expected to win a wing for Dolphins… although outside Herbie who isn’t a big fan of passing sometimes

He’s a good centre prospect but was a disaster on the wing last year. Basically an automatic line break for anyone who attacked that edge.

A few POD choices there but finding a pretty reasonable way to get Hynes and Cleary in is an achievement!

Yeah, I'm not sold on the front row, but wanted to find a way to get them both. A lot relies on team selections going right. Duncan starting will be great.

Of course everything reliant on TLT but my main one to comment would be CTW
There’s a non zero chance once Kris’ suspension is up both Strange and Stewart are not playing and with Iro and Burbo there your current line up could quickly be only 3 blokes named to play.

In saying that I have Weekes, Strange and Stewart so fully expecting to cut one or two of them myself too

Besides that you could go through anyone’s current team and say ‘yeah great pick as long as named, yeah great pick unless X happens, that guys good but if Y is named he might be better’

TLT is the only way to know, for sure. I've tried to do what I think you guys have too - put a few guesses in at a price you expect a replacement to be. That way I have the mix of guns, mids and cheapies and hopefully don't have to do a thousands complete rebuilds

Yeah CTW just jumped out at me as particularly likely to need multiple changes - but everyone is just shot in the dark atm. Hell, no guarantee Xerri makes the side, but I also have him too.
I think everyone is pretty keen to see a couple must have cheapie CTWs emerge from trials/TLT to help give some flexibility.

Arthars is a good priced one I like (provided, of course, named!), in saying that if named probably 80% will have him (like Xerri).

I think common approach currently is like you say, chase spine guns, load up on mids and cheaps in 2RF and CTW and at don't spend too high at prop unless you go all the way up to Haas. I'm eyeing off Flegler and May for my prop starters currently.

I don't mind picking someone that doesn't get a day 1 start if I'm confident they'll get in at some point. Savings trades will be huge this year and I'm trying to figure out a strategy that helps with that too

I think you can start with max 1 bloke like that and I'm aiming for none. Before byes you could start with 2 or 3 no worries.
Saving trades is great but so is early cash gen

Yep, just need a two gun halves and fullbacks plus starters with job security, bye round and origin friendly, cash cow laden and trade light strategy

I do prefer classic but draft is good fun and I can definitely understand people preferring it
